7 St. Kilian Catholic Church Page 7 Fair Trade Sunday Sunday, January 14, a.m. to 4 p.m. STEPHEN MINISTRY Feeling Blue The St. Kilian Anti-Human Trafficking Ministry is hosting a Fair Trade Sunday to create awareness of the relationship between human trafficking and fair trade. Vendors from the collaborative Fair Trade LA will be selling fair trade products in the courtyard at St. Kilian. This is a wonderful opportunity to start your Valentine s Day shopping while supporting a good cause! Holy Hour Fridays 7-8 p.m. The holidays can be a very stressful time. Everyone around you is celebrating this joyful season, and yet you feel sad. Perhaps it is the loss of a loved one, job loss, divorce or painful memories. Your heart aches to think about it. A Stephen Minister can provide extra support and a listening ear during this difficult time. You do not have to go through it alone. If you feel a need for this kind of care, consider contacting the Stephen Ministry. Shepherds of CHRIST (SoC) The monthly prayer meeting of the SoC will be held in the church on Saturday 1/13/18 at 6:20 PM. We have free prayer materials and would like to grow our community to pray for priests and the church. The SoC ministry was established in 1994 at the request of Jesus to Father Carter. Our group meets on Thursday evenings in the Parish Center at 6:30 p.m. This is not therapy or professional counseling but IS a place where we can share our stories and walk the journey of anxiety and depression together, with others who share our struggle. You may join our group at any time. There is no registration or fee. Just come and join us as we support each other and walk together in faith and love. Questions?
