During the month of October, we are called to remember in a special way the great needs of the Church and her life-giving service in mission countries. World Mission Sunday is a day set aside for Catholics worldwide to recommit themselves to the Church s missionary activity through fasting, prayer and sacrifice. 4 Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time Anne-Catherine Jagneaux and FOCUS members worked at the Lourdes grotto and helped the Missionaries of Charity in the Paris. Winston LaFleur, his daughter, Tiffany, and his granddaughters, Sophie, Savannah, Sela, Terry & Ann Fitzgerald, parishioners, along with Warren LaFleur served the poor of Honduras. Photos from the Mission that Brandon, Kathy and Alyssa Soileau went on this past June in Kingston, Jamaica. They spent 10 days with the Brothers of the Missionaries of the Poor.
