3 Save the Date! Hillcrest Educational Center (located at the former St. Mark's School) is holding a Breakfast for St. Mark's Parish. Sunday, July 1!!! 7:30 to 11 AM. There is no cost, and it will include pancakes, coffee and orange juice. The building will be opened for folks to walk around and there will staff from Hillcrest in different sections of the building to answer questions. Sign ups in the back of the Church. Please do not leave used gum, dirty tissues, or half eaten cough drops & wrappers in the pews or in the book racks. Please wrap and take out with you. Please be respectful of our beautiful sanctuary. 4 St. Mark African Catholic Community of Pittsfield Anniversary Celebration You are cordially invited to come and celebrate with us on July 29, 2018 It has been four years since the African Catholic Community of St. Mark s Church was established with the blessing of the Springfield Diocese and Rev. Fr. John Salatino. We have every reason to celebrate God s faithfulness to us. We started in the small chapel and moved to the main church building where we have been accorded a regular Sunday Mass. We have witnessed a number of baptisms, graduation announcements and also mourned along with our fellow parishioners who have lost loved ones. Indeed, we have seen the true glory of God. The week of celebrations promises to be a wonderful one with Fr. Dave and Fr. Peter who will be coming here from Ghana. The whole week will be packed with religious activities, beginning with a Sunday Thanksgiving Mass from 12 to 1 pm followed by refreshments. Please plan to be with us as we celebrate and give praises to the Lord Jesus. As we celebrate, may we also look at our life and celebrate what the Lord has done in you, through you and for you. Blessed be his name! We look forward to a wonderful celebration. ~~ ST.
