Wednesday 2nd 3pm - Holy Communion in the Drawing Room with Rev. Clare Shepherd Everyone is welcome, afternoon tea will be served at the end of the service. Thursday 3rd 3pm Documentary in The Drawing Room Sherlock Holmes & The House of Fear (1945): Sherlock Holmes investigates when the members of an eccentric Scottish gentleman s club are bumped off one by one. Friday 4th Join Alice for half an hour of gentle exercise, suitable for everyone and drinks will be served afterwards. 3pm - Knit & Knatter with Giselle Join Giselle in the Drawing Room where you will enjoy knitting and a good chat by the fire. Afternoon Tea will be served. Sunday 6th 10.30am - St. Peter and St. Paul Church Service If you wish to go to Church, Alice will be available to take you.

We hope you will enjoy some light exercise followed by afternoon tea. Wednesday 9th Thursday 10th 3pm - Art Activity in the Drawing Room Diana Montgomery will be taking an Art Class which will involve creating your own still life using pastels, pencils or paint with Diana on hand to assist and guide you. Afternoon Tea will be served. Friday 11th Join Alice for half an hour of gentle exercise, suitable for everyone and drinks will be served afterwards. 3pm Documentary screening in the Drawing Room Attenborough s Nature Curiosities: Taking a look at Siamese Fighting Fish who fight there own reflection. We will also look at Giraffe s necks and chameleons tongues. Saturday 12th 3pm Scrabble in the Harvest Room Join us in the Harvest Room for a game of Scrabble. Afternoon Tea will be served.

Tuesday 15th 3pm Craft Afternoon with Pina Join Pina in The Harvest Room where you will enjoy an afternoon of craft. Afternoon tea will be served. Wednesday 16th 12 noon - PAT Dog (Pets as Therapy) Drawing Room Brodie will come round for a pat and a chat with his owner Jenny. 5pm Evening Entertainment in The Drawing Room Join us in The Drawing Room to meet Chris who will be performing songs from the 1920/30 s on both his saxophone and clarinet. We will enjoy a buffet supper and drinks afterwards. Thursday 17th 3pm Documentary screening in The Drawing Room Unsolved History: investigating the plot to kill Hitler in July 1944, discovering how he survived the bomb blast and what might have happened had it been successful. Friday 18th 10.45am Duke of Kent School Year 5 Children Visiting Join us in the drawing room where the children in year 5 from the Duke of Kent school will entertain us with a couple of songs and then chat to us about our experiences when we were their age. Sunday 20th 10.30am - St. Peter and St. Paul Church Service If you wish to go to Church, Alice will be available to take you.

Afternoon Tea will be served. Wednesday 23rd 2.30pm Trip Out to The Old Hall Join us for an afternoon trip out to our sister home The Old Hall to have afternoon tea with our fellow residents. Thursday 24th 3pm - Bingo in the Harvest Room Join Pina for her popular Bingo afternoon. Great prizes to be won and afternoon tea will be served. Friday 25th BURN S NIGHT 10.45am Duke of Kent School Year 5 Children Visiting Join us in the drawing room where the children in year 5 from the Duke of Kent school will entertain us with a couple of songs and then chat to us about our experiences when we were their age. 1pm - Robert Burns Lunch Robert Burns is Scotland's best-loved bard and Burns Suppers have been held in his honour for over 200 years. Join us for a lunchtime celebration with haggis, tatties, neaps and a wee dram of whiskey. Saturday 26th 3pm Games in the Harvest Room Join us in the Harvest Room for a selection of games. Afternoon Tea will be served.

6 NOTICES Hairdressing Julie our resident hairdresser is available for appointments. Beauty Manicures are offered on a once a month basis in the Garden Room however if you are staying with us on a short term basis then we will make every effort to fit you into the schedule. Church Visits We have Holy Communion in the Drawing Room once a month, if you are unable to join in and would still like communion let us know. If you would like a visit from the local Roman Catholic Church to give the Eucharist please let us know and we can arrange it for you. Shopping Our receptionist, Pina, is in charge of the shopping so please let her know if there are any items you need purchasing. If there is anything else you would like for your room or have any question or queries then Harriet would be happy to help you. Games If you are interested in playing a game one afternoon then please let Harriet know and she will do her best to organise it for you. Walks If you would like a walk around the Old Rectory gardens or the Ewhurst Church grounds at any time in the week then please contact Pina at reception and we can organise it for you.
