2 Reflection: To All Who Love Him Joanna Fuchs O God of the Universe, you shed your glory, your majesty, your omnipotence to become human, as Jesus Christ-- to get close to us, to connect with us, to be our role model and guide for living. O God of the Universe, you became the human Jesus Christ, to know us, to feel all we feel, to show us how much you love us by taking within yourself all our sins. O God of the Universe, you felt not just one person's pain but the pain of all of us, to wash us clean and bond with us, your creation, your children. O God of the Universe, you proved your transcendent holy power by rising from the dead, a sign that all of us who believe in You will also rise to be with You eternally. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the "Happy" in "Happy Easter." Happy Easter to all those who love Him. PARISH INFORMATION Notices in inverted commas are copied from other publications. Special Thank You- To all who volunteered to help out with the various Lenten and Easter tasks. Geoff Croxton and his wife Laurel prepared and printed all the various booklets we used over Holy Week and Easter. Barbara Dudding and Sue Tuana were kept busy changing the altar colours. Neville Page obtained the palms, for the church and the processions. Pat Goodridge made many palm crosses. Margaret Philpott cleaned the brass. Jacqui Garbett and Sheila Lange played the piano. We are truly blessed at St Christopher s with very generous caring parishioners. Enrolment and Emergency Contacts Update If you have not already completed the parish registration form and emergency contact update, please complete these forms as soon as possible so we can update our parish records. The updated information will help towards the compilation of a new parish contact list, which will be available for members. Thank you Parish Games Afternoon - Parish Games Afternoon and Fish n Chips Supper - 3pm to 7pm, Saturday 7th April. All Welcome. Afternoon tea, lots of fun, BYO games you love, learn new games, share with others, have a chat. Dinner will be around 5:30pm / 5:45pm, then we ll play some classic group games like charades, who am I, etc. $8 on the night for Fish n Chips. BYO Drinks. Tea / Coffee / Water available. Questions? Contact Jill Binning Garage Sale Plant Stall - We have had such a good response to the call out for potting up plants in readiness for the plant stall...thank you everyone. I have been asked if we anticipate having any Agapanthus or Clivias on our stall...so a demand is there...if any one has any of the above plants please bring them along. Along with plants...items of garden decor are also good sellers...including flower pots, garden tools and some garden furniture. Once again many thanks Helen Jameson. 7 Prayer for new Rector Bountiful God, give to this parish a faithful pastor who will faithfully speak your word and minister your sacraments; an encourager who will equip your people for ministry and enable us to fulfil our calling. Give to those who will choose, wisdom, discernment and patience, and to us give warm and generous hearts, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen. APBA p.21 Prayer Points.
