1 Edificatory Prose of Kyivan Metropolitanate Between the Union of Florence and the Union of Brest
2 Jan Sacran, Errors of Ruthenian s rituals, 1507(?)
3 TWO interdependent processes in the development of edificatory prose: (1) the process of language emancipation, when Ruthenian dialects became more influential for book writing and preaching; (2) the development of creative activity, when some new or substantially renovated texts and miscellanies proliferated on the wide territory of the Kyivan Metropolitanate. I hypothesize that the edificatory prose was forged as a tripartite system in the inter-union period. There are several stages which framed this system: traditional Church Slavonic texts, texts of western origin (both Catholic and Protestant, translated into Ruthenian), and original Ruthenian texts.

6 The Bohemian influence on Ruthenian chancellery terminology Josef Macůrek was convinced of the essential influence of Old Bohemian on Ruthenian terminology in the 14th and 15th centuries; Andras Zoltan: The similarity of the Old Ukrainian and Czech legislation terminology is rooted in their mutual archetype Latin legislative formulations; the Ruthenian legislation acts appeared earlier than the Bohemian ones. Furthermore, the Ruthenian terminology affected some Muscovite anti-union narrations.
