Reminder...Sunday 11 September at 3.00 p.m...the Union of Catholic Mothers Cardiff Diocese annual pilgrimage to Penrhys. The rosary will be recited at the Shrine and then down to SS Gabriel and Raphael Church, Tonypandy for an half hour Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament followed by refreshments in the parish hall. An open invitation is extended to anyone who wishes to attend the Pilgrimage in honour of Our Blessed Lady of Penrhys. Sunday 2 nd October Marie Curie BIG TEA PARTY... Keep this date in your diaries...calling all budding British Bake Off Cooks, why not join in and bake us a cake to help raise funds for the Marie Curie Big Tea Party. The Marie Curie Organisation undertake tremendous work with Cancer Care and at All Hallows we appreciate the care, compassion and nursing care given to patients and their families in time of greatest need. Please be generous and help us in supporting this worthwhile charity, bake a cake and importantly, come along on the day. Annual Autumn and Christmas Craft Fayre. Reminder... our popular Craft Fayre will be taking place on Saturday 22 October from noon until 4.00pm. Many varied and interesting crafts will be available, please support our local artisans and visit our Craft Fayre. Parish Annual Christmas Dinner... Saturday 3 rd December. Make a note in your diaries!!! Unwanted Gifts... If you have been having a sort out over the summer break and have discovered some unwanted gifts, we would be grateful to have them to use as raffle prizes for our fund raising. We also appeal for bottles for our Bottle Stall at the Craft Fayre, bottles of all descriptions eg, Wines, Spirits, Sauces, Shampoo etc. all gratefully accepted. 50 th Wedding Anniversary... What an achievement, our congratulations and best wishes this week to Angela and Mike McCarthy on the celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

DYFRIG'S OPEN DAY: 24th SEPTEMBER The Open Day will be running from 10.30am pm on Sat. 24th Sept. and we will be setting up on the Friday before. Before the day: We would like to spend some time tidying up around the grounds before the day itself. If you can spare an hour or two to help out please sign up. Helping on the day: We would welcome any offers of help to set up on the Friday, or on the day itself to help the running of the day, serving teas and coffees, talking to visitors or conducting tours and providing information. No offer of help too small! Tea/ coffee and cake: We will be offering visitors tea/ coffee and cake during the day in the Annexe, proceeds from any donations made will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support. We would welcome any donations of cakes for the day. Please could these be delivered to the Annexe on the Friday evening or Saturday morning. Photos/memories: We will soon be collating our displays for the event, so please don't forget to submit your wedding photos/ baptism photos/ orders of service for scanning to the 'Open Day' box in the Narthex. Catholic Bible School Image of God and the Protection of Human Dignity What does it mean to be created in the image of God? And what are the implications for human dignity and the right to life?
