But, if you focus on the positive, not the negative, focus on your blessings instead of your hardships, miracles will seem common and you will see God s active presence in your daily life.

(Mark 10:52) Faith is believing in something even though you may not be able to see it. Many people think that miracles don t happen anymore. But, if you focus on the positive, not the negative, focus on your blessings instead of your hardships, miracles will seem common and you will see God s active presence in your daily life. OUR CONDOLENCES to the family of Mrs. Gail Miller. She was a teacher at St. Rose School for 35 years and prepared many of our school alumni for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. She was 68 years old. This is just another way we can keep everyone updated as we prepare for Confirmation on March 17, Attention St. Rose CCD Parents & Students: Thursday, November 1 is All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation. A Family Mass is scheduled on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:30 PM, St. Rose Church. All CCD Students and parents are expected to attend Mass as a Family instead of attending class. Since Mass is honoring Saints, I would like the CCD students to dress up as Saints and process in with Father Tim at the beginning of Mass. Children should carry a sign identifying the saint they are dressed as. CCD students please meet in back of church at 7:20 PM. Students will sit with their parents during Mass; so parents sit up close to the front so your child can locate you. No Halloween costumes will be allowed. ALL SOULS DAY (St. Andrew & St. Rose) Remember your deceased loved ones by offering a Mass for them. All Soul s Day envelopes are located in the back of each church. Please list your loved ones, include a donation of your choosing, and return via the collection basket prior to All Soul s Day. Two or more intentions for one Mass does not decrease the effectiveness of the offering. SR EUCHARISTIC ADORATION ON ELECTION DAY: On Tuesday, November 6th, Eucharistic Adoration will be held at St. Rose Church from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. You are encouraged to set aside an hour (or whatever your schedule permits) in front of the Blessed Sacrament in prayer for God s will for our mid-term elections. If individuals or organizations wish to schedule an hour of adoration, there is a sign-up sheet in the back of St. Rose church.
