2 19TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME AUGUST 12, 2018 REFLECTION Get up and eat, else the journey will be too long for you! (1 Kings 19:7) Jesus knows that our stewardship journey will be difficult; we are not designed to do it on our own. Fortunately, Jesus gave us the greatest gift of all the gift of the Eucharist; His own body and blood. When we join our sacrifices with the sacrifice of the Mass, we find the strength and courage to be His joyful disciples. ST. ROSE SCHOOL NEWS Reminder: Parents with preschool students enrolled at St. Rose, please send your paperwork to the school office as soon as possible. Parents of students in Grades 7 and 8, please have your child s school physical paperwork sent to St. Rose school office. St. Rose preschool still has available openings for two-morning and three-morning classes. Contact Mrs. Fiscus--as soon as possible--if interested. (402) Open House: Monday, August 13th for all Preschool groups and St. Rose School grades 1-8 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring school supplies to their respective classrooms and meet their teachers. The Crofton Community Club will be serving root beer floats in the St. Rose Parking lot for those attending either the Crofton Public or St. Rose School Open Houses that evening. Classes Resume: Tuesday, August 14 for St. Rose and Public with an early dismissal at 12:50 PM. First day of Preschool for St. Rose preschoolers will vary by group and was included with registration information.
