Thanks!! FYI: 2018 Income Tax laws have changed. Check with your tax preparer because some charitable deductions are no longer valid. I will only be printing contributions for 2018 upon request. This is a cost saving measure for envelopes, paper and ink as many do not use these statements. Contact the office if you would like your copy. Thanks! Snow Emergencies: If any of our counties (Lucas, Henry, Fulton, or Wood) declare either a Level 2 or 3 we will cancel our scheduled services. We will attempt to put the cancellation information on Channel 11 WTOL and Channel 13 WTVG. However, on the weekends television stations have short staffs and so the cancellations may not go up on time for our classes. This is different than the Diocese policy that mass can be cancelled only for Level 3. This is due to our parishioners/teachers coming from a wide area, and road conditions can be different in different counties. We will not wait until a Level 3 to cancel! If Masses are cancelled, Catholics are encouraged to participate in Holy Mass via television, radio, or internet, making a spiritual Communion. Any questions call the parish office at Heartbeat of Toledo Baby Bottle Campaign: Help Heartbeat of Toledo make a difference in the lives of Toledo-area moms and babies by participating in their baby bottle campaign. Just pick up a baby bottle as you leave church at the weekend Mass. Take it home, fill it with your spare change and return it to the box near the church entrance the weekend of January 27. No bottles will be accepted after Feb. 3. For more information on Heartbeat call or visit RE-News: Religious Education classes on January 20 for K-6 after Mass. Also High School CCD January 27 after Mass. Liver & Onion Dinner: The annual Liver & Onion or Chicken breast supper will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Custar Legion from 5-7 PM. The menu consists of

Free will offering, proceeds to help Legion Auxiliary #305 send a young lady to Buckeye Girls State. Soup & Sandwich Supper: There will be a soup and sandwich supper on Saturday, Feb. 2 nd from 4:00 7:00 p.m. The menu will consist of chili, cream of Parisian, and chicken noodle soup. Also chicken, hot dog and coney dog sandwiches. Drinks and deserts are included all for a free will offering. Carry outs are available. Proceeds will go toward the rectory windows. A sign up sheet is in the back of church for desert donations. (Cake or Brownies LIBRARY VOLUNTEER: We are looking for someone to take over my volunteer position. If a parent, grandparent or anyone else willing to help is interested they should start coming to our library times on Wednesday mornings, 9 to 12. It would be a great way to see how the library is set up and run. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Ellen Boyer at REMINDER: St. Louis PTAA is selling Ron's Super Valu (in Deshler) gift certificates at the school office and F & M Bank in Custar. They come in $25 increments and you can use them like gift cards. The PTAA makes a 5% profit off of these. We also still have scrip cards available for orders. Visit for a list of all the stores, restaurants, events, etc. Our enrollment code is: B25EBE Orders are placed on Monday mornings and are usually available for pick up on Thursdays. We ask that you have the money for the orders to school by Monday morning. This program donates money to St. Louis school every time you swipe your Kroger's card. To sign up, have your Kroger's card (you can get them in the store) and go to m. Opening night at the Ball park is set for Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Our Umpire (emcee) for the evening is Baseball Hall of Famer Steve Powell. Tickets will go on sale starting next Sunday after Mass. The cost is $50 which includes a chance in the raffle and dinner. Additional dinner tickets are available for $25. You must be 21 or older to attend. You need not be present to win! You may also fill that form out and drop it off or mail it to the school office or give to one of us mentioned above.
