All are welcome! We welcomed Father Raul Perez of Cross Catholic Outreach this weekend as he spoke to us on behalf of the poor in developing countries. Cross Catholic was founded to create a meaningful link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Central and South America. We hope you will prayerfully consider donating to this worthy cause. SAVE THE DATE ANNUAL SEMINARIAN DINNER Seminarian Recognition Dinner: Mark your calendar, and don't forget to join us in support of our Diocesan Seminarians at a dinner in their honor on Friday June 15th in the Parish Center. A Social Hour will begin at 6:15 PM with Dinner at 7:00PM, followed by entertainment and surprises. Invitations and Tickets will be forthcoming. A Celebration of Life - Ben Hutchison: At the request of Dave and Kathy Metzger, the Knights of Columbus Council 4913 are hosting a reception celebrating the life of Ben Hutchison. Brian is in need of some parishioners who would be willing to lead the rosary before the Masses on Saturday at 5:00pm and Sunday at 12:00 Noon. Parishioners are currently leading the rosary before the 9:30am Mass on Sunday morning and daily Masses throughout the week. 7 St. John School Activities! Geometry 3-D City The 6 th grade class recently completed a unit in Geometry by building a 3-D city. End of year learning and fun! Spring Concert and Art Show Saint John School students recently participated in the Spring Concert and Art Show, performing and showing off works of art from each grade. Strawberries & Farm Animals Mrs. Germaine, Mrs. Powell and Mrs. Wilson s classes visited Rutland Farms in Tifton. They picked strawberries, learned about bee pollination, fed fish and learned about farm animals like Porkchop and Truffle the pigs and Elvis the cow. St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 7
