Jesus was crucified, then he rose up and was seen by his chosen witnesses. Peter also mentions the importance of all the disciples bearing witness to what they saw, so that many people would believe in Jesus, and have their sins forgiven through him. Our life is not yet completely known to us, until Christ appears and we are raised to glory in him. Gospel: John 20:1-9 When Mary Magdalene discovered Jesus tomb was open, she told Simon Peter and another disciple. They ran to the tomb and Peter went inside. He found the burial wrappings on the ground, with the head covering separate from the rest. The schedule is as follows: 2:30 p.m. Good Friday, April 3rd 11:00 a.m. Holy Saturday, April 4th 1:30 p.m. Easter, April 5th Each of the following evenings April 6th through April 11 begin at 7 p.m. and will feature a Eucharistic Holy Hour. There will be talks on Mercy by the Deacons and Priests, concluding with Benediction. Confessions will be heard during the week. On Apr. 12th Divine Mercy Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. there will be a Mercy Hour, during which confessions will be heard. Divine Mercy will conclude with the 5 p.m. Mass. After Mass there will be a covered-dish, pot-luck dinner at 6 p.m. at the Bulman Center at St. Mary s Church, Cherry Tree Farm Rd.
