It is highly recommended that this be done during the pregnancy. Sacrament of Marriage: A couple must make arrangements for their wedding at least 6 months in advance. ***Please secure your wedding date at the Church before reserving a reception date*** A marriage preparation program is required for every couple intending a Catholic Wedding. Visit our website at for information and follow the instructions. Sacrament of Reconciliation: Saturday at 4:00 PM & Sunday following the 10:00 AM Mass. The priest will remain in the Reconciliation Room only until the last confession has been heard. SACRAMENTS Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick: Is offered to Parishioners who are seriously ill or in danger of death. Please call early in the illness of a loved one to arrange for the Sacrament. The Sacrament is administered to the living. In the event of death prayers are offered. WELCOME New Members (RCIA) Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Catholic Church is invited into the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Process (RCIA). We also invite baptized persons who wish to receive Eucharist and Confirmation to become part of this process. 4 SUNDAY, June 24th, 2018 Parish Outreach Ministry Food Pantry: Thank you for all the donations of food that came in this past week. Your donations are very much appreciated, as it is only through the generosity of the people of our Parish that our Outreach Office can accomplish the work that Jesus asks us to do. That is to help others whenever possible. Congratulations to all of our seniors who will be graduating within the next couple of weeks. To all, have a blessed, restful summer. Blood Drive: Our 3 rd and last blood drive of the year will take place on Sunday, July 15, 2018 after all the masses. For the summer we will have two Precious Blood Eucharistic ministers at Mass. We delivered or served more than 550,000 meals to senior citizens and young families. Parish outreach centers, including our food pantries, assisted more than 100,000 families. Our Office of Hospital Ministry served more than 300,000 people in local hospitals. 12,000 volunteer Catechists taught Religious Education to more than 110,000 of our children in public schools. In our 133 Parishes there were more than 17,000 Baptisms, 17,000 First Communions, 19,000 Confirmations and 3,000 Weddings. We provided safe and affordable housing for struggling seniors through 15 housing facilities with more than 1,200 affordable apartments. Our parish received a cash rebate of more than $12,000 which helped to offset expenses needed to maintain our building and to fund the many programs we offer. Please consider making a pledge to this most worthy charity. We need the help of every parish family to reach our goal of $52,300. You have until January 31, 2019 to pay off your pledge. No down payment is necessary. The Diocese will send monthly reminders. Keep in mind this is not a legal document. If you feel you cannot keep up your payments, simply discontinue them. The programs and services supported by the Appeal have a significant impact on hundreds of thousands of parishioners throughout our Diocese. Whatever you are able to give, large or small, will be accepted gratefully. Please keep in mind your gift is payable over ten months. Join Us With Mary When life got overwhelming and too big for us as children, we turned to our mother for support and guidance. As adults, we thank her for all she had done for us. Now we are blessed with the opportunity to turn to our Heavenly Mother Mary to ask for her support and guidance, and thank her for the many blessings she has given us.
