Every time a letter is returned to us it costs us additional postage. Please help us update our parish records. Thank you. ENVELOPES & TAXES It is that time of year when tax returns have to be filed. As you may know, you can claim your church offertory contributions as a tax deductible donation, as long as we have a record of your contributions (i.e. if you use envelopes). This is a good time of year to encourage those who do not use envelopes to think about using them. Contribution statements are available by calling the parish office. CHRISTMAS FLOWERS THANK YOU Thank you to the parishioners who donated to the flower collection in memory of their loved ones. Your generous donations allowed us to have many beautiful plants to decorate the churches as we celebrate the Birth of our Lord. We also have added empty drink pouches (like Capri Sun) and empty Elmer s glue sticks Any donations we receive we forward to St. Francis de Sales, but almost every school participates, so parents and grandparents are reminded to send these items to a school of their choice. Also, for every drink pouch (such as Capri Sun) and stick of empty Elmer s glue we collect the school will receive 2 cents. For any questions, please call Erin Sanchez at YARN MINISTRY Thank you to all those who have dropped off prayer shawls and lap robes. Having an inventory means that we will never have to refuse someone that needs remembrance or some comfort. Our supply of prayer shawls is getting better, but we could still use a few more. Could you help by making and donating one or more? Are you getting bored making the same thing over and over? We will be needing hats, scarves and mittens for the next Christmas season, we could also use adult sized slippers. Yarn and patterns are available at the parish office.
