Designed to address the policies and structures that perpetuate poverty to create sustainable solutions, CCHD empowers poor and marginalized people to join together and make decisions to improve their lives and neighborhoods. 25 percent of funds collected will stay here in the diocese for anti-poverty projects. Social media platforms can be used to solicit minors, distribute drugs, share pornography and more. If your family does not have a social media safety policy in place, work to establish one immediately. Rules such as no direct messages from anyone you don t know in person and no private or hidden contact with anyone are important. Establish regular check-ins to make sure that the rules are being followed to see what your children are viewing.
