John 6:37-40 Our St. Rose de Lima Catholic Daughters partnered with The St. Amant High School FFA for a very successful Boo at the Barn on Oct. 13 th. Over 3,000 people attended the 9 th Annual Boo at the Barn, where the SAHS students had built carnival games, and provided a hay ride, horse rides, a ball pit and a corn pit, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, and much more. The Catholic Daughters provided home-made treats and helped work the concession stands and other stations. 3 PARISH BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE The Parish Book of Remembrance is in the entrance of Church. In this book, parishioners are invited to write the names of all the dead for whom they would like to have remembered at all of the liturgies during the month of November. Simply write the name of the person who has died and they will be held in memory by our worshipping community. Catholics have long had the tradition of praying for the dead and you are encouraged to be a part of that tradition. The Sanctuary Lamp will burn before the Blessed Sacrament this week for: Church. Although the ladies lead this effort, we can all take part in serving. Families are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Religious Education during November. Collection boxes will be placed in the big area gathering space. Please bring your donations no later than November 14th. Thanks for your participation. The services start promptly at 6:00PM. This is a simple and meditative Taize' worship which promotes serenity in all who take part in it. The prayer consists of music, scripture readings, and reflection. The candlelight service, beginning and ending in silence, fosters the participation of all present by focusing and deepening faith through the power of prayer. The 40 Days for Life Campaign consist of praying for 40 days in front of the clinic hoping that by our presence and the presence of God, we will be able to change the minds of those who come thinking that they have no other choice. There were 22 babies lives saved.
