3 Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the From The Desk Of Deacon Tom Nov 27Tuesday We are now at the end of our liturgical year and hopefully we have all made progress in allowing Jesus Christ to be King of our Parish Hall lives. That means we have to die to ourselves and give the reigns to the Lord doing everything He tells Nov 28Wednesday 6:30pm you as Mary spoke at the Wedding Feast of Cana. Is Jesus King over every part of your life? A good reminder for all of us is to post a sign on our bathroom mirror that says I Am Third. God comes first, then my Nov 30Friday 4:00pm neighbor, then I can think about myself. FISH BAKE!! Next week we enter Liturgical year C in our new Lectionary and we begin to use the new hymnal!! A big Dec 2Sunday thank you goes to all who helped put this together over the past several years. A final thought to ponder; God does not have a fixed Dec 3Monday plan that he must carry out. On the contrary, He has 6:00pm many different ways of find man and even of turning his wrong ways into right ways. The Feast of Christ the King is therefore not a feast of those who are subjugated, but a feast of those who know that they are in the hands of the one who writes straight on crooked lines.
