You have awakened us to love you, discern your ways and live in obedience, love our neighbors, and hear the cry of the needy. 3 The People of God are Met by God s Word Scripture Colossians 3:15-17 Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ the Message have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives words, actions, whatever be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. (MSG) Sermon Fruitful Gratitude Rev. The Sharing of Holy Communion As you come forward to receive communion, you are invited to bring your gratitude card and place it in the basket at the chancel, along the way to receive the bread and the cup. If you are remaining in your seat to be served Communion, you are asked to place your gratitude card in the basket provided by the servers. As you come forward for Communion, please hold your hand with palm-up to receive the gluten-free bread. Take a glass of juice (which is not fermented) and drink it.
