You brought the beautiful world into being, created life in abundant variety to fill the lands and seas, and made humanity in Your image to enjoy the gifts of creation and to follow You. For our sake He died on the cross, was raised on the third day, and leads the way to eternal life. We gather at this table to remember Him in the bread and the cup. May Your Spirit, which creates us, redeems us, and sustains us, be present as we share in the blessings of this Holy Communion. Amen. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel. They looked up and saw a star, shining in the east beyond them far, And to the earth it gave great light, and so it continued both day and night. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel. And by the light of that same star, Three wise men came from country far; To seek for a king was their intent, And to follow the star wherever it went. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel. + BENEDICTION Lindy Purdy Leader: For what does the Lord require of us? All: To do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God.
