3 We are looking for families and individuals to assist with our Liturgical Ministries. Your dedicated participation greatly enhances the reverent celebration of the Mass. Serving on one or more of these ministries is an excellent way to give generously of one s time and talent to the parish. Parishioners willing to serve as a liturgical minister are invited to attend one of the Ministry Workshops to learn how to perform these services. Liturgical Ministries include: Hospitality Family/Usher Greet people as they arrive and help seat them. Ushers also collect gifts, help make the communion orderly. Hospitality helps greet/takes down the gifts, straighten the church for the next Mass and hand out bulletins. Lectors Give the first two readings. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Assist in Communion. Altar Servers Adults & Children (5th grade and up) assisting the celebration of the Mass. Would you like to serve as a Liturgical Minister? contact the Parish office at DID YOU KNOW, your Social Concerns Committee, in your name and through your continued support, recently donated funds to our local Catholic radio station? Are you aware of St. Michael Catholic Radio broadcasting on FM 94.9 and FM 102.9? We encourage you to listen to their programming. The station is part of the Oklahoma Catholic Broadcasting Network. To meet the requests of many, the Alumni Board changed the time this year from evening to afternoon. Special honorees Classes of 1958 (60 yrs.), 1953 (65 yrs.), 1948 (70 yrs.) and 1943 (75 yrs.) Cost is $5.00 per person and includes sumptuous snacks and desserts, coffee and pop. Cash bar is available for beer and wine. Drawings for 8 terrific door prizes!
