We will gater for food, fun, fellowsip and learning as we seek to grow in fait togeter. Cildren in PreK-5t grade will gater from 4-5:30 for art, music, mission wile learning wy and ow we worsip our God. Pressley will be leading an adult discussion from 4:15-5:15 on te importance of reformed worsip for Presbyterians. 6t-12t grades yout are invited to elp wit WAMM from 4:30-5:30 Yout are welcome to bring teir musical instruments and will gater as a group from 5-5:30 to create music wit Lucie. Everyone will enjoy a delicious meal at 5:30! Wat a gift to sare in fellowsip wit our EPC family. Our yout will stay after dinner for a time of conversation, study, games, energizers, mission and muc more and will conclude at 7:30. Registration forms can be found on te table in te commons area. 6 E A S T M I N S T E R E D I T I O N P A G E 7 Sunday Scool Offerings Sundays at 11:00 am Cildren's Sunday Scool Wat a gift it is to sare in te Fait Formation of our cildren and yout. Tis is one of te best ways to onor te baptismal promises made on bealf of our cildren and Eastminster is doing an amazing job of fulfilling tese promises! In tis new year, we ave worked ard to provide classes for all of our cildren and yout, as well as for eac and every adult! We need you to get involved. Cildren and Yout classes will be led by teams of teacers. Eac team is made up of 3-4 members. Tis will allow our cildren, yout and adults to begin building relationsips tat will last a lifetime. Our cildren and middle scool yout will be using curriculum based around te Narrative Lectionary, wic Pressley will preac from as well. A BIG tank you to all wo ave answered te call to be a part of a teacing team. Tere are a couple of openings so please, let Joan know if you can join a team. Teacing responsibilities are sared between our two leaders, and occasionally class members, and a mix of lecture and discussion. We meet on Sunday mornings in Clarke s Kitcen beside te fireplace. GIFT- Growing in Fait Togeter- We don t ave all te answers but are wrestling and growing togeter as we work to raise our cildren according to biblical principles in a fastpaced and callenging world. Tis class will seek to support our young parents as tey begin to worsip togeter as a family and begin saring te stories of fait wit teir cildren. We meet on Sunday mornings in te curc office conference room. Contact Joan Jones for more information. Our studies range from topical to Bible studies to seasonal fait discussions. All ages are welcome. We meet in te classroom at te back of te sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Yout Sunday Scool 6t-7t Grade Class- will learn te story of te Bible troug study and a variety of fun activities wit "Living te Word" curriculum. Tis class will explore te same texts tat are used in worsip on Sunday morning. Teacing team: Barry Campbell, Ben Cox, and Jennifer Ellis 8t-12t Grade Class- will engage in coffeeouse conversations using te PCUSA curriculum "Fait Questions". Tis fall we will be discussing te following questions: "Wy do you go to curc if you believe in God?", "Isn't it enoug to believe in God and Jesus and live a good life?", "Do all pats lead to te same God?", "How sould we treat non-cristians?", and more. Tere will be activities for our entire EPC family, from our very youngest to our oldest. We will be creating items for you to take ome as well as items to be used ere at EPC and items to be sared wit oters. Eac person/family will ave te opportunity to create a Reverse Advent Calendar! Eac day during Advent, you will place one of te items listed in your bag. All tese items will be returned to EPC on Cristmas Eve or te Sunday after Cristmas and will be sared wit United Ministries. We will create Cristmas cards for our omebound members, blessing bags, a poto retelling of te Cristmas story and muc more.
