The Spirit will receive what I give and tell you about it. Jesus said to his disciples: I still have many things to say to you but they would be too much for you now. But when the Spirit of truth comes he will lead you to the complete truth, since he will not be speaking as from himself but will say only what he has learnt; and he will tell you of the things to come. He will glorify me, since all he tells you will be taken from what is mine. Everything the Father has is mine; that is why I said: All he tells you will be taken from what is mine. Year 6 Family/Parish Mass Thank you to all the Year 6 families who were able to attend our Family/Parish Mass on Sunday. Thank you also to all the parents who brought items for morning tea. 2 Extra-Curricular Activities Sport News Athletics Carnival Save the Date + Registration OLOL Primary Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday, 10 th June. The online registration form is now open and can be accessed via the school website home page. Registration closes tomorrow, Saturday, 21st May. Athletics Carnival - High Jump and Discus There will not be any trials for high jump and discus. However, if your child wishes to enter into these events for the Zone Carnival they must provide a formal Little Athletics ticket with their results to Mrs Drumond before 31 st May, The top two students from each age group, providing they make the qualifying distance or height, will go through to the Zone Athletics Carnival. Wakakirri - Save the Date! The dates have been released. Our OLOL Wakakirri team will be performing on Monday, 22nd August, at Riverside Theatre in Parramatta. See you there! 4 In Term 2, Year 4 students have begun the topic of Talking and Listening to God, which invites them to deepen their relationship with God through prayer. In this unit, the students learn the importance of prayer in the lives of God's people through scripture passages and grow an appreciation of the prayers and prayer traditions in the Church that have been passed on from generation to generation.
