3 Letter from the Chairman December 2017 In November we had our annual trip to Kalahari Resort. Rumor is that everyone who attended got wet. The Date with Dad event held at Danny Boys was totally awesome because yours truly won the Father bake off. I am officially a two-time champion. Look out Betty Crocker, I am baking up a storm! You all can congratulate me at this month s Christmas Party. Thank you in advance. The Senior Princesses are looking for a few fathers to step up and run for officer positions. Although anyone can run for any officer slot, we are currently seeking candidates for Awards Chairman and for Property Chairman. The Property Chairman position just got easier as the SP purchased a trailer that will hold all our equipment and will be parked at the North Royalton YMCA. The Property Chairman is responsible for making sure equipment and supplies are available and in working order for upcoming events. The Awards Chairman is responsible for ordering awards and event tags. In order to participate in events, you need to be current in your annual dues. Join us for recognition of outgoing members and 2016 officers, swearing in of 2017 officers and the Induction Ceremony for new members at 5:00. Dinner will follow. Swimming from 5:45-7:45 pm. Parma, OH Senior Princesses Plaques In place of patches, the Senior Princesses provide metal souvenir tags (5/8 x 2 ) for each event the father and daughter attend. The tags can be placed on a plaque purchased through Senior Princesses. These 9 x 12 handsome, personalized wood plaques cost $10. If you go to lots of events, plaques can even be strung together. 8 Snow Tubing Brandywine Polar Blast February 2 nd, 2018 Bring your whole family and enjoy an evening of fun! Cruise down the basic chutes... plummet down the steep chutes... whoosh across the bumps... catch a little bit of air... No matter what gets your adrenaline going, you'll find it at the Polar Blast Snow Tubing Park! Up to 20 tubing lanes, more than 3 football fields in length 11 state-of-the-art SMI snowmaking fan guns to keep the chutes stocked with snow 2 Conveyor lifts to take you effortlessly back up to the top for more. Think of them as moving sidewalks that go uphill... you simply step onto the conveyor at the bottom, and then step off onto the snow once your effortless ride to the top is complete! A new lodge building that provides a place to stop in and enjoy a snack, or warm up with a cup of hot chocolate on a snowy day A full service snack bar with hot dogs, soup, sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee and sodas Most importantly: FUN for the whole family! We will again conduct the event in conjunction with the WMMS Polar Blast Battle. 10 Ski Club! Do you like skiing or are you interested in learning how to ski? Join Ski Club at Brandywine Sundays from 4-8pm! Includes: Club Fees: $204 Per Child 5 Lessons Lift Tickets every Sunday from 4-8pm for the entire ski season Ski Rentals 4 $10 Passes for Dad s to ski too (includes rental if club member rents equipment). Details: Available to kids 8 to 18 Parent must stay at Brandywine for 4 th grade and younger (transportation not included) Lessons are each Sunday in January sometime between 4 and 8pm.
