1 M O U N T H O P E, W V Through various construction based projects ranging from painting, building decks, installing siding and drywall, and re-roofing homes, your students will minister to local homeowners who are in desperate need of love. The need is evident in this mountainous community and your group can play a huge part in what the Lord is doing this summer in Mt. Hope, WV. Mt. Hope is also located right on the outskirts of New River Gorge National Park! A beautiful area with lots of fun activities and breathe-taking views! Your group will surely fall in love with this community! Area Attractions: New River Gorge National Park, Whitewater Rafting, Zip lining, Hiking, Paintball, or Horseback riding Dates: June 5-11 July 3-9 June July June July June 26-July 2 July Sunday - Check-in - Orientation and Worship Monday & Tuesday & Wednesday and devotion - Work at mission sites - Lunch (on worksite) - Camp freetime and dinner - Chapel / Worship - Group time Thursday - Half day work (lunch & dinner on own) - Free half-day to enjoy local activities - Evening closing worship service Friday - Free day to enjoy local activities -Lunch & Dinner on own - Friday Night Fellowship (optional) Saturday and check-out There is just something about spending time with students doing service projects. 2 What kind of work will we be doing? Groups will be taking part in a variety of different relationally-based community outreach program. Organizations that groups will work alongside will include food pantries and homeless outreach programs. What meals are provided? All meals are provided for your trip except for lunch and dinner on Thursday & Friday. Groups will be provided a continental breakfast on Friday and Saturday as well. What do the evening Chapels consist of? Our evening Chapel services consist of games, skits, worship and a message brought by a TEAMeffort staff member. Logistics We handle the details such as mission sites, tools, food, lodging and programs so you will have more time for fellowship, work and worship with your youth. Programs and Music Your group will grow from evening programs with challenging messages, skits, dramas, and contemporary praise and worship. Tools & Materials Provided All you have to bring is your group. Your mission site will be stocked with all of the tools and materials needed, so you can spend time working with your group instead of preparing your site. Site Leadership We have skilled and helpful supervisors on the mission sites to assist your group with the technical and practical aspects of the job. Group Building Your group will work together as a team to accomplish your youth mission project and will also get the opportunity to meet, interact and worship with youth from other groups. You only have to provide transportation for your own group, avoiding the liability of taking youth from other groups in your vehicles. Staff You will find an energetic, hardworking and fun staff at TEAMeffort. They dedicate their entire summer to missions and are strong Christian role models for your youth. The staff will spend time building relationships with your group, working with them on the work sites, organizing the games and activities, and leading worship at the evening services.

5 Thank you for supporting your youth by leading them during the TEAMeffort Youth Mission Camp. One of the benefits of TEAMeffort Youth Mission Camps is that you and your students will worship, work, eat, lodge, and participate at camp with other youth groups from different churches and denominations as well as from different regions of the United States. As we partner together in Christian service, we strive to create a safe, respectful environment where each individual can grow in faith. We want everyone to have a positive TEAMeffort Youth Mission Camp experience, so we ask each participant to follow this Code of Conduct. Please discuss this Code of Conduct with every student, parent, and adult leader before you come to camp so each person commits to safe and respectful behavior. We also ask each person to follow the rules specific to your camp location to maintain safety, punctuality, and respect. These camp specific rules will be shared at orientation after you arrive at camp, and they include restrictions on cell phone usage, the lights-out policy, and safety on the worksite. 1. TEAMeffort dress code is loose-fitting unaltered t-shirts and loose-fitting fingertip length shorts. Close-toed shoes must be worn on the mission project worksite. Undergarments should not be visible and clothing should be properly fastened. Hemlines on shorts or skirts must be at least fingertip length. We do not allow tank tops, spaghetti strap shirts, halter tops, tube tops, yoga pants, or two-piece bikini bathing suits. When swimming, women must wear a modest one-piece suit or a tankini-style suit that covers the torso and midriff (front, sides, and back); men must wear t-shirts when not in the swimming area. 2. TEAMeffort does not permit the use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs at the TEAMeffort host facility or any associated TEAMeffort camp activities. 3. TEAMeffort asks each participant to be respectful of other people, other groups, and TEAMeffort staff. TEAMeffort does not permit offensive language or profanity; behavior that interferes or threatens camp activities; behavior that threatens the health or safety of another person; or pranks that harass another person or damage property. Individuals or groups will be held responsible for destruction or damage to property. 4. TEAMeffort discourages public displays of affection and discourages students from isolating themselves from their group, adult leaders, or camp activities. Sexual advances and verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature is not permitted. By signing this document, I agree to review these policies with all students, parents, and adult leaders. I also commit myself and each member of my group to abide by this Code of Conduct. I agree to cooperate with the Camp Director to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
