2 TN Church of God State Youth 1633 Pineola Ave, Kingsport, TN Dear Pastors, Counselors & Students: It is time again for our Tennessee State Youth Convention! We are pleased to announce our worship leaders will be Calling Glory and Jonathan Lee with special guest speaker Pastor Michael J. Thigpen. In October 2015, the City Kingsport TN at Harvest Fest had the pleasure of worshiping with Calling Glory. These talented individuals shared the stage with Mandisa, Danny Gokey and NewSong. We are very pleased to host them at our event in Gatlinburg. All who hear will leave inspired and renewed. You can visit Calling Glory at soncured.com. It is a pleasure to have Jonathan Lee returning to lead worship during two of our sessions. Jonathan and his wife Laura serve as the worship pastors of Living to Go. Jonathan is an accomplished singer/songwriter and has written numerous worship songs heard all around the world. We will all be inspired by Jonathan s passion for worship and burden to see people connect with God. You can visit Jonathan at We are also pleased to introduce our keynote speaker Pastor Michael J Thigpen. Michael serves as the Director of the Cultural Resource Center at Anderson University. He serves as Lead Pastor of Celebration Church at Arrow Heights in Anderson Indiana. Michael has a great passion for the lost and those who have been disenfranchised or otherwise disconnected from local expression of the body of Christ. You can visit Michael at Please remember to fill out a convention registration form for each attendee, student or counselor, as well as filling in the room assignment sheet. There should be a counselor in every room with 3 students. Also, each registration form should be mailed with a $10 deposit per registration. The balance for each attendee will be due at check in. This does not include the $10 for t-shirts. If attendees are ordering t-shirts, then an additional $10 must be sent for a total of $20 due with preregistration. All t-shirt orders are PRE-ORDER & PRE- PAY. If students don t get in their order, they may simply not get a t-shirt. We put the registration date off as long as we possibly can in order to give you as much time as possible. We cannot push the deadline any further. It is imperative that t-shirt orders be sent in a timely fashion. We simply cannot hold off on ordering while we wait for those who haven t sent in their information. We do try to order some extra but they are sold at a first come first serve basis & there is no guarantee your size will be available. As you prepare your registration, please continue to be mindful of deadlines. You always do a great job with this. It is challenging to coordinate the wishes of all of you, but we do the best we can. It is so helpful to us when everything is completed on time as we are contractually bound to report the amount of rooms we need, as accurately as possible, one month before convention. Late fees will be applied. After February 6 th, 2017, we cannot guarantee the availability of rooms. We will do the best we can to accommodate your needs, but after our contract date, our hands are tied. Thank you all so much for your patience. You all are the best.
