3 December 2016 Senior Princesses: Chairman s Letter, It was a cold Saturday for those that went to Kalahari, made the hot-tubs even nicer. Big shout -out to the Moga family for the private Cabana, we will all have to remember to do that for next year, Thanks Dave The Christmas Dinner Party is December 11 th if you have not registered the dead line is approaching fast. Winter Camp at Punderson should be an excellent place for sledding so do not forgot to bring them. Ryan Meyers ski club is still open for last minute registrations, please refer to the spotlight for details. This will be my last letter to all of you. I have been enjoying being the SP Chairman this year. Learned a lot and more learning to do. Thanks for all the support and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Cottages/Chalets Cabins consist of two bedrooms: one bedroom offers a full size bed and the second bedroom offers two sets of bunk beds. Cabins include a ¾ bath with shower stall, cable television, DVD player, complete kitchen, basic cooking and eating utensils, breakfast table, cable television, picnic table, charcoal grill, and a community fire ring for small campfires. Bath soaps/shampoo, bed and bath linens are included. Guests are entitled to two parking spaces, located in front of the cabins, identified with your assigned cabin number. Each kitchen includes a large refrigerator with freezer, stove/oven, sink, ample countertop space, cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and automatic can opener. Not all cabins are identical. There is no guarantee you will have all the amenities that are in some of the other cabins. All guests are entitled to enjoy the many recreational amenities available at the Lodge such as pool, hot tub, game room and other activities they may offer.

9 Don t Forget Your Swimming and Sled/Tubing Gear Food Friday night is Festivus. Each cabin is invited to provide a food and venture to the other cabins for their treat. You will need to supply your own food for breakfast and lunch. Senior Princesses are planning a dinner feast on Saturday evening along with our group activities. Festivus Quarterly Meeting Pig Race Festivus-for-the-Rest-of-Us begins at 9:00 PM Friday night. Take a stroll, meet fellow SP members, and enjoy a culinary treat. Presented by participating cabins. Everyone is invited and anyone or any cabin can participate. If you would like to prepare and host a culinary treat please let Jason Greene know j.greene36@yahoo.com There will be a short quarterly meeting before our feast on Saturday evening. We will go over upcoming events to let everyone know what they are about and to plan schedules accordingly. Learn what SP has to offer. Senior Princesses will be supply battery operated pigs and jockey. Batteries will be supplied at the event. Jockeys can be decorated and named as your cabin sees fit. Bring things to decorate your jockey and string to attach your jockey to pig. Extras You may want to bring extra breakfast fixings such as ingredients for omelets, spices, snacks, drinks, Friday night meal, specialty pots and pans or cooking utensils for any of those extra culinary treats. Sleds, toboggan, boom box, crock pot, electric frying pan, non-stick frying pan, cookie sheet, cross-country skis, beach towels, bathing suits, games, cards, charcoal, lighter fluid aluminum foil, paper plates, napkins, hangers. Extra (warm) clothing is highly advisable. 10 Snow Tubing Brandywine Polar Blast January 27 th, 2017 Bring your whole family and enjoy an evening of fun! Cruise down the basic chutes... plummet down the steep chutes... whoosh across the bumps... catch a little bit of air... No matter what gets your adrenaline going, you'll find it at the Polar Blast Snow Tubing Park! Up to 20 tubing lanes, more than 3 football fields in length 11 state-of-the-art SMI snowmaking fan guns to keep the chutes stocked with snow 2 Conveyor lifts to take you effortlessly back up to the top for more. Think of them as moving sidewalks that go uphill... you simply step onto the conveyor at the bottom, and then step off onto the snow once your effortless ride to the top is complete! A new lodge building that provides a place to stop in and enjoy a snack, or warm up with a cup of hot chocolate on a snowy day A full service snack bar with hot dogs, soup, sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee and sodas Most importantly: FUN for the whole family! We will again conduct the event in conjunction with the WMMS Polar Blast Battle. The tags can be placed on a plaque purchased through Senior Princesses. These 9 x 12 handsome, personalized wood plaques cost $12. If you go to lots of events, plaques can even be strung together. 15 Friends and Family Ski Club! Do you like skiing or are you interested in learning how to ski? Join the Friends and Family Ski Club at Brandywine! Club Fees: $204 Per Child, Pricing below is from last year but will remain the same Includes: 5 Lessons Lift Tickets every Sunday from 4-8pm for the entire ski season Ski Rentals 4 $10 Passes for anyone to use (includes rental if club member rents equipment). Details: Available to kids 8 to 18 Parent must stay at Brandywine for 4 th grade and younger (transportation not included) Lessons are each Sunday in January sometime between 4 and 8pm. 16 ONLINE CLUB REGISTRATION Winter THE BASICS Boston Mills/Brandywine & Alpine Valley offers a season-long Club Program for skiers, snowboarders and snowbladers ages 8* to 18. The Club Program starts in January and includes 4 hours of slope time per session, equipment rental (if applicable) and up to five lessons. For the first five visits, club members arrive and depart as a group with their club advisor. Afterward, club members are welcome to continue visiting BMBW & AV on their designated day and time. *Must be 8 years old by January 1, CLUB CARDS Club members are given a permanent Club Card for the season, which serves as their admission onto the snow and is used to get rental equipment, if their package includes it. Each participant s Club Card must be with them while on the mountain on their designated day. Club Cards contain RFID chips which the resort can scan without removing from pocket. These cards will also contain their four $10 Value Passes and can also be loaded with money for use at all BMBW sales points through out the resort. GEAR UP You can buy your Club Program package with or without ski or snowboard rental and if you are a beginner, we highly recommend the rental option! Check out our Open House (Oct. 17th-19th) at Boston Mills for great deals on new and used equipment. Renters must stay on the type of equipment chosen at signup when using their Club Card. Snowblade rental is not available in the Club Program.

17 JOIN THE CLUB The Club Program is the most heavily discounted program at BMBW & VALUE PASSES Club members, except for those with Season Pass packages, also receive Value Passes. The Club Card contains four $10 Value Passes that can be used towards any of the following: l An all day snow pass at Boston Mills, Brandywine and Alpine Valley l A snow tubing session l A late night session Club Cards must be presented at our pass windows by the person whose name appears on the card, but any of the Value Passes obtained may be used for a friend or family member if desired. You can use all four Value Passes at once, and any passes you obtain include rental if your Club Program package includes rental. SAFETY AND LEARNING Safe skiing and snowboarding on the slopes is each person s responsibility. Always be respectful to your fellow skiers and riders. A warning may be issued for safety reasons, including skiing or riding out of control, or for disciplinary reasons like snowball throwing and the use of foul language. If you receive a warning, your club advisor must accompany you to reclaim your Club Card for the following session. Some offenses, and any second warnings, result in the loss of privileges with no refund. Club members will be assessed a fee if on the slopes without a Club Card. Your Responsibility Code can be viewed in full at bmbw.com. Please review it, and remember that it is a partial list. Be safety conscious and courteous at all times. AV, with savings of almost $400 over the standard snow pass, rental equipment and lesson price. There are NO REFUNDS on this heavily discounted program for any reason, including student removal from the club due to disciplinary reasons invoked by the club advisor, Ski Patrol or ski resort management. Pricing depends on when your club visits, and is listed below. Foreign Exchange students and Season Passholders, may take advantage of special packages. Pick-A-Day Passes cannot be used in conjunction with the Club Program. The passholder package does not include Value Passes.
