This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 4 MISSION OF THE MONTH Agape Flights OUR VISION is a world where missionaries never lack resources to share the love of Christ. OUR MISSION is to provide excellent aviation service delivering cargo, mail and humanitarian aid to missionary partners serving Christ, carrying hope to the nations of the Caribbean. OUR PURPOSE is scripturallyaligned with our mission statement, where in 2 Corinthians 9:12, the apostle Paul gives us a clear picture of God s desire for us to supply the needs of the saints. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. With that clear mandate, we are committed to supporting our missionaries, their families and their unique missions. Each year, Agape Flights touches the lives of millions through its affiliated missionaries who provide clean water, community health, education, evangelism, medical services, micro-enterprise, orphan care and vocational training. A free hot lunch is served to over 200 people a day, 7 days a week. DONATE: Thank you all for donations of clothing and glasses. PRAYER MINISTRY: Please pray that God would open the minds and hearts of those trying to survive on the streets to the transforming power of the Gospel, and raise up volunteers to pray and share the Good News with them throughout the year. Already this year, Beth-El has distributed over 200,000 pounds of food to over 7,000 farmworking families. Sometimes the lines for our Tuesday pantry extend to the far reaches of our parking lot. Still another 3,000 farmworkers, unable to make the trip to the mission, have received resources directly at their place of employment. How do you place a value on something like that?
