January 18th Butte Commandery #5 installed its 2012 officers. We were honored to have The Right Eminent Grand Commander, Sir Knight Casey Norris, as the Installing Officer; Right Eminent Past Grand Commander, Sir Knight Elmer Curtis, the Installing Marshal; Eminent Grand Generalissimo, Sir Knight Myron Tisdel, the Installing Prelate; and Jill Ramsey, Past Matron, Josephine Chico Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Installing Organist. Also in attendance, Inspector, District 7, Department B, Sir Knight Bob Morrison, along with many sideliners from our concordant and appendant bodies. We hope they enjoyed the installation as much as we enjoyed having them with us and the time for fellowship and refreshments after the installation. There is a new vitality within our Asylum and this is the first time in many years that all of the stations have been filled. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Butte Commandery was delighted to be able to authorize a monetary donation to each of the five Masonic youth groups in Butte County this past year.
