1 The Termite Times Issue #0025 July 2018 Next Meeting July 19 th WOODCRAFTERS CLUB MEMBERS MESSAGE FOR JULY It is with a heavy heart that I write to you this month. The passing of a beautiful spirit and faithful worker and our current president, Cindy Miller came as a shock to us all. It is a reminder that our God has numbered our days and each one we have is precious. It reminds us to always part in peace and show love to one another when we are together as we know not when will be our last moments together with loved ones, friends and colleagues. Now let us rejoice that she is now in the presence of her God and we are, for a while, left behind, to continue our journey of life and cherish our memories of her. I am reminded each time I lose a family member or friend, God s promises to us in the 103rd Psalm: As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him, for He knows our frame; He remembers we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him. May her eternal rest be in peace in the arms of her heavenly Father. Let us too, remember for Sam in the loss of his life love and best friend as he continues to struggle with a heavy and broken heart added to his many health issues. Let us bind together in prayer and deed to be with him in these coming days, praying that God will grant him the peace that passes all understanding. I look forward to being and speaking with all of you during this month s meeting. David A.
