Advent Project 2014 The Messenger January Supplement Christ Lutheran Church, Filey s Our Advent Giving Project for the Basket of Love Program was successful. Members quickly grabbed up the ornaments to fill our baskets. If you haven t returned your item, please place them in the proper basket along with the ornament as soon as possible, so we can get the baskets into the right hands. Thank you for helping these people get a good start on a new life. Monaghan Fire Co. Fundraiser Monaghan Fire Co. will be a fundraising dinner. They will have a Pork and Sauerkraut dinner Jan. 4th from Cost is $8.50/adult and $4.00/children. Fileys Craft Boutique Filey s Craft Boutique filled with handmade gifts for Holiday giving raised $ $ will go towards the kitchen fund and $21.60 for the Basket of Love Advent Project. Music Ministry Fundraiser COLOR HIM LOVE Thanks to all who donated Canned Yams For New Hope Ministries. We collected 324 cans. We exceeded our goal thanks to your generosity. It s as easy as taking pictures of your receipts from purchases. Learning Center at Filey s can earn money for purchases you, your family, and friends make. It s very simple to do. You first need to download the Shoparoo app from the iphone app store or from the Google Play Store. Once you download the app, look for the Learning Center at Filey s and register. Then every time you make a purchase snap a picture of the receipt and send it to Shoparoo. You will receive Roo Points which will then be converted into cash for Learning Center at Filey s.
