Followng gradu aton from Carrollton hgh school n 1906 he entered the Unversty of llnos, completng a course n agrculture wth the class of 1910, On September 1, 1914 he and Mss Ruth Felmley were marred at the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Davd Felmley n Normal, and snce ther.marrage have resded at ther present home. Mr. Meek was a member of the Masonc Lodge andthelons Club. Besdes hs wfe he s survved by two sons, Davd, of Decatur and James of Bloomngton, fve grandchldren and one brother, Charles Meek of Carrollton. Funeral servces were conduct ed by the Rev. Robert Ptsch at the Smpson Funeral Home chapel Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Donald Langer was panst. nterment was n Carrollton rty cemetery. The pallbearers were Damon Drver, Oln W.,. t t f Stead, R. H. He was oronounced clean on ' '\ arrval at Co~mty Hosptal. Mrs. Englsh was admtted to the hosptal for treatment of njures, whch conssted of a broken; ankle, cracked knee cap and bruses and cuts. She was moved to Boyd Hosptal n ths cty Thursday. Hudson was treated then dsmssed from the county hosptal. The car drven by Englsh was apparently sdeswped by a : car drven by Guy Pondrum, 20, of Florssant, Mo.
