Verhei of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church officiating. Burial was made in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Golm, who was born in Junction City, Wisconsin, had been a farmer at Clark Fork. He is survived by a son, C. N. Golm of Spokane, WA, and by one granddaughter also of Spokane. Thursday, April 10, 1958, p.10 GOLM, INGA MARIE Clark Fork ID b / d Clark Fork ID Congregation Final rites for Mrs. Inga Marie Golm, 75, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o clock from the Methodist Church in Clark Fork, ID, with Elder V. A. Verhei, Sagle, of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints officiating. Interment will take place in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Mrs. Golm, who died at her home on Monday (August 27, 1956) following an extended illness, was born in Norway and came to the United States in She lived in Minnesota during her girlhood and moved to Clark Fork in She was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church in Clark Fork. She is survived by her widower, August, at their home; one son, C. N. Golm and one granddaughter, Betty Jo Golm, both of Spokane, WA. Thursday, August 30, 1956, p.14 KENNY, ARVILLA DORA (Wilson) b / d Pioneer Vay area resident, ArVilla Dora Kenny died Sunday, May 1 at the Sandpoint Manor at age 84. Funeral services were scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the Moon Chapel with Elder Clarence Porter of Spokane, WA, officiating. Interment followed at the Seneacquoteen Cemetery. Mrs. Kenny was born April 12, 1899, at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, the daughter of the late William and Mary Wilson. She came with her family to the Vay area in 1900 and lived there until She married Patrick Kenny in 1919, and the couple raised Hereford cattle on the family farm.

Patrick Kenny died in 1965, and Mrs. Kenny moved to Sandpoint in She had been a member of the Seneacquoteen School Board for many years, a news reporter for the Sandpoint News Bulleting, a charter member of the Vay Community Club, and a charter member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of the Hoodoo Valley. Mrs. Kenny is survived by one son, Harry Kenny of Vay; two sisters, Ann Morse and Alice Morse, both of Sandpoint, ID; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, William Kenny in 1972; three sisters and two brothers. Wednesday, May 4, 1983, p.5 KENNY, PATRICK Vay ID b / d Patrick Kenny, 68, died Sunday, August 22, 1965, on his ranch at Vay, ID. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Moon Chapel in Sandpoint. Officiating minister was Robert Wilkinson of Spokane, WA. Burial was at Seneacquoteen Cemetery. Mr. Kenny was born February 13, 1897, at Moro, OR. He came to Bonner Count in 1911 and has lived in the Vay area since then. He has raised Hereford cattle on his ranch. Mrs. Kenny was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints. Surviving him are his wife, Arvilla, at home; two sons, Harry, Thompson Falls, MT, and William, Kalispell, MT; one sister, Mary Mersinger, Moro, OR; five granddaughters and one grandson. Thursday, August 26, 1965, p.2 MILLER, OLIVE MARGARET (Jenkins) b / d / Olive Margaret Miller, 64, died March 10, 1973, at her home in Sandpoint, ID. She was born January 25, 1909, at Vay, Idaho, and attended schools in the Vay and Priest River areas. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by five sisters, Alice and Ann Morse of Sandpoint, Mrs. Ruth Crabb, Sagle, ID, Arvilla Kenny, Vay, ID, and Mattie Thamke, Oconomowich, WI; one brother, Walter Wilson, Spokane, WA; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. from the Moon Chapel with Elders Elbert Gunter and Ray Brock of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial will be at Seneacquoteen Cemetery. Sandpoint Daily Bee Tuesday, March 13, 1973, p.3 MORRELL, WALTER PAUL Sagle ID b / d, Walter Paul Morrell, 62, resident of this community since 1920, passed away at Spokane, WA, last Thursday, June 15, 1944, after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at the Moon Chapel Tuesday afternoon conducted by Elder Lloyd A. Whiting of Spokane, WA, and interment was at Pinecrest cemetery. Mr. Morrell was born on December 31, 1882, near

The family moved to Sagle, ID, in 1920, where they have made their home for the past 24 years. At the time of his death he was employed at the Farragut Naval Training Station. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Morrell; his mother, Mrs. Anna Morrell of Sandpoint, ID; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor, Prineville, OR, Mrs. Winifred Melior and Mrs. Annie Mae Vernon, Sandpoint, ID; two brothers, Ralph at Sandpoint, and Harold at Lorane, OR; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Lindberg, Santa Cruz, CA, and Mrs. Olga Montgomery, Chula Vista, CA; twelve grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends. He has been a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since Sandpoint Bulletin Thursday, June 22, 1944, p.1 STOTTS, FLORENCE MAY b / d Florence May Stotts, 64, died November 29, 1973, at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, ID. She was born December 6, 1908, in Colorado and moved to the Sandpoint area in She was a member of the Reorganized LDS Church at Sagle and several ladies clubs in the Sagle and Westmond areas. She is survived by four sons, Donald, Brewster, WA, Leonard, Washougal, WA, Richard, Chelan, WA, and Dean, Sagle, ID; two daughters, Mrs. Lorna Russell, Post Falls, ID, and Letha Brigner, Battleground, WA; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Forshey and three sisters, Daisy of California, Lila of Nebraska, and Nell of Colorado. Turnbull, former long-time Bonner County assessor, were held Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 1959, at the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church at Sagle with Elder Venus A. Verhei officiating. Burial followed at the Westmond Cemetery. Mr. Turnbull, a long-time resident of the Sagle area, was elected to the office of Bonner County assessor in January 1931, and served in that capacity for 11 terms until his retirement in January He then moved to Spokane to make his home. He is survived by his wife, Vera, at the home in Spokane; a son, Glen A., Priest River, a daughter, Ruth Bendickson, Spokane; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Wilson, Sagle; four brothers, Fred, Ojai, CA, Thomas J. and Oscar, both of Sagle, and Charles, Thompson Falls, MT; and ten grandchildren. The Bonner County courthouse was closed during the funeral service in tribute to his long service as county assessor. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home of Spokane, WA, handled the arrangements. 4 4 of 5 p...*** The community extends sympathy to the family of Oliver Turnbull who passed away in Spokane, WA, on June 26, Mr. Turnbull was born March 13, Mr. Turnbull was a school teacher, farmer, logger and Bonner County Assessor. Mr. Turnbull did his own assessing in a little brown model A Ford. He was welcomed in each home as he was a very interesting man to visit with. Mr. Turnbull s health failed and he and Mrs. Turnbull moved from the farm to Spokane where he would be closer to his doctor. Left to mourn his passing are his widow, Vera; a daughter, Ruth, and two sons, Glen and Roy; four brothers, Tom and Oscar of Sagle, Fred of Ojai, CA, and Charlie of Thompson Falls, MT; and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Wilson of Sagle. Funeral services were held in the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church in Sagle on June 30 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers were Roy Decker, Harold Hunter, Elbert Gunter, Clarence Crabb, Earl Sheffler and Pat Kenny. Services were conducted by J. A. Verhei of Portland. Interment was in Westmond Cemetery. Thursday, July 9, 1959, p.2 VERHEI, BLANCHE GRACE (Turnbow) b / d Blanche Grace Verhei, 98, passed away Sunday, March 28, 1993, in Sandpoint, ID. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, 1993, at Coffelt s Moon Chapel with Elder Bill Williams of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Spokane, WA, officiating. Burial will be at the Westmond Cemetery. Blanche was born on September 30, 1894, in Palouse, WA, the daughter of George and Sarah Turnbow. She grew up and attended school and graduated from Palouse High School. She then attended one year of college in Cheney, WA. On September 23, 1917, Blanche married Venus Anchor Verhei in Palouse. In 1927, they moved to Sagle, ID, where they had a farm and dairy. Blanche was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sagle and also a charter member of the Sagle Helping Hands and sewing clubs. She was a devoted mother and housewife. Blanche enjoyed sewing and her grandchildren. Blanche is survived by a daughter, Grace Cole of Seattle, WA; two sons, Vernon Verhei of Puyallup, WA, and Donald Verhei of Sagle; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Bonner County Daily Bee Wednesday, March 3, 1993, p.26 VERHEI, VENUS ANCHOR b / d Longtime Bonner County School Board member Venus A. Verhei died Friday, April 27, 1984, at the Sandpoint Manor. He was 89. Funeral services were held May 1 at the Moon Chapel with Elder Bill Williams from Spokane, WA, officiating. Interment followed at the Westmond Cemetery. Mr. Verhei was born March 3, 1895 in Helena, MT, to Jacob and Louisa Verhei. He moved to the Sagle area in 1902 and attended Bonner

He married Blanche Turnbow September 23, 1917, in Palouse, WA, and they celebrated their 66 th wedding anniversary in Mr. Verhei operated a farm and dairy at Sagle, served as a construction superintendent, worked at Farragut Naval Base and logged in Bonner County. He served on the Sagle School Board and the Bonner County School Board for a total of 30 years. He ran for both the state Legislature and lieutenant governor. For many years he was active in the development of Sagle baseball. Mr. Verhei was an elder in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Sagle and had been a member for 69 years. He had officiated at many weddings and funerals in the area. He is survived by his wife, Blanche of Sagle; two sons, Donald of Sagle, ID, and Vernon of Puyallup, WA; one daughter, Grace Cole of Seattle, WA; one brother, Justin Verhei of Gresham, OR; one sister, Genevieve Porter of Independence, MO; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons. member. Mrs. Winship had been a nurse for Eastern Washington State Hospital in Medical Lake, retiring in In 1965 she moved to the HooDoo Valley area of Bonner County, ID. She was born in Prosser, WA, on March 6, 1904, and married Guy Winship on May 25, 1923, in Spokane, WA. The couple lived in Greenacres, WA, from 1938 until moving to Bonner County. She is survived by her husband, Gluy Winship, of HooDoo Valley; three sons, Robert Winship of Spokane, Ron Winship of HooDoo Valley, and Glen Winship of Federal Way, WA; two daughters, Betty Boorman of Quincy, WA, and Anita Davis of Garden Grove, CA; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
