13 r, t l j, : H ; ~,, 1, [ :, L t J,, : :o 1 f,,, ~ l t,, ),, l j :,: : ; : <,, t :,,C : ~,,,,, - l ~, : \ j 1,1 1: : ~ ( ~, 1 l,,j : ssters and a large crcle of frends to mourn her gong May we strve to meet her n heaven, where there wll be no more death, pan not tears, and where there wll never be any more obtuares Mrs James Calloway SCOTT-t s wth a sad heart that we wrte the death of our dear father, Gus A Scott, who was born December 14th, 186, and ded June 2nd 1936, makng hs stay on earth 75 years, fve months and 19 days He leaves to mourn ther loss a wfe, fve sons, two daughters, seven grandchldren, one sster and many other relatves and frends We mourn the loss of a lovng father, but do not mourn as those wthout hope, for t was so comfortng to hear hs last testmony, no longer dread death He was sck about two years He bore hs sufferngs wth a smle He was a member of Prospect Church for several years and served as Clerk for a number of years He loved hs church, he loved hs neghbors and found lovng comradeshp wth them as frends He was a devoted husband and father, and delghted n the fellowshp of an unbroken crcle Hs body was lad to rest n Mt Pleasant cemetery under a beautful mound of flowers The funeral servces were conducted by hs Pastor Rev A H Godfrey and Rev Floyd Cherry A happy home was once enjoyed, How sweet that memory stll, But death has left a vacant char, That no one else can fll We wll mss you, oh so sadly, Untl the resurrecton morn When we wll meet agan n Heaven; On that brght and eternal shore Wrtten by hs lovng son, Clfton Grady Scott KEELS-Sster Laura Keels departed ths lfe Jan 4th, 1936 She was a member of Free Wlls Rest Church for a long tme Her trals are over her vctory s won, she kept the fath She has gone but not forgotten She ~1as gone to be wth her loved ones who are restng n the sweet beyond She has many lovng frends who mourn at her gong, She leaves a husband and nne chldren to mourn her loss but we know that our loss s Heavens gan Sleep on dear mother and wfe and take yo-ur rest, f we wll all lve the lfe and keep the fath that you dd we wll meet agan n that sweet home where we wll never say goodbye A voce we love s stll, a place s vacant n our home that never can be flled Wrtten by her husband and chldren, - Rev H W; Keels 12
