We speak of the family of nations, of our church and parish families. The greatest compliment we can pay a friend or gracious host is to say that we feel at home with them, we feel part of the family. Families are the first crucibles in which love is tested and tempered. Jesus himself was one of three people who lived in the shadow of each other. This family, like our own, did not always get it right, but they always tried to. These three amateurs were on holiday, and one of them got lost. Two were worried sick and took great measures to find the third, a boy after all, who was seeking the meaning of his calling. He found his vocation--to do his Father s work-- but he also returned home with his parents. In many cases these online bill pay services will actually print a check and mail it to the recipient. If you really like to automate things so that you don t have to think about them, you can automate online bill pay. Almost all online bill pay services will allow you to set up recurring payments. For example, you can have the online bill pay service take care of your offertory every week, bi-weekly or monthly. To set up a recurring payment with your banking account you need to visit the Bill Pay section of your online banking page or visit your local branch. You will set up a profile for the offering that you want to pay online. This profile will include your account number, our address where the payment will be sent and the Church s name. Then select set up recurring payment. You will set a monthly date for the draft to come out. On this check you will have your name and you can also have your Offertory number. This number will be a special number assigned to you so we will not have to give out an envelope. This process will be very cost effective for you and for your church. This is not on-line giving to our account. This process is simple no cost process available at your bank. A check will be sent to the church on a regular basis that you choose. No more writing checks ~ convenient ~ consistent way of supporting your church.
