All of our classes are taught by caring professionals, with an expertise in facilitating intergenerational interactions in a developmentally appropriate way. Little Explorers This program offers toddlers months old the opportunity to learn and explore in an environment that enhances all areas of development including social/emotional, cognitive, fine and gross motor. The structure of the class gives toddlers a snap-shot of the preschool experience. This weekly seventy-five minute class weaves Judaic values, traditions and songs into each class session. Each class begins with socialization time for adults before transitioning to a short circle time for songs, finger-plays and instruments. Opportunity to explore all learning areas including art, dramatic play, manipulatives, and block play, sensory and gross motor activities are included in this developmentally appropriate program. Although geared toward specific developmental levels, all classes are open to all children. Classes are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting in September. Visit bjbe.org/tot-adult for more detailed information. Shalom Shabbat This program offers toddlers months old a chance to enjoy rituals and music of Shabbat and the Jewish holidays. This weekly forty-five minute class weaves Judaic values, traditions, stories and songs into each class session. Stay at the end of class to join the ECC Shabbat celebration with the clergy. Shalom Shabbat is on Fridays starting in September. Visit bjbe.org/tot-adult for more detailed information. More information to follow. V BJBE adds new programs to meet the identified needs of our community.
