T [h] urah {Turah/Torah} Portions with Haftarah and the Good News Nuach {No ach/noah} T [h] urah {Turah/Torah} Haftarah Good-News Barashiyth {Genesis} 6:9-11:32 Yashayahu {Isaiah} 42:5; 54:1-17; 66:1-24 Luke 1:1-80 In this t [h] urah portion we will go over thoughts or the inside of mankind. The closing out of last weeks t [h] urah portion, there was wickedness everywhere. Because the t [h] urah portion is called Nuach {Noach/Noah}, let us take some time to understand more about him and some remez and sod highlights about the story. Quick question. Is the earth cursed? Yahuah cursed it. But is it still cursed today? Gen. 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: Gen. 5:29 And he called his name Nuach {Noach/Noah}, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which Yahuah has cursed. There would be comfort in their work, toil and their hand. Remember, Yahuah cursed the ground. o Gen. 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because you have hearkened unto the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for you sake; in sorrow [ צּ בוֹן [ע shall you eat of it all the days of your life; Gen. 6:6 And it repented {regret/sorry} Yahuah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Gen. 6:7 And Yahuah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them. ה מ אָד ם ע ד בּ ה מ ה ע ד ר מ שׂ ו ע ד ע וֹף ה שּׁ מ י ם כּ י יּ נּ ח ם 1. 2 The same words used concerning the birth of Nuach {Noach/Noah} and his purpose. Was this the same reason why the earth was destroyed? Basically the pattern shows the very thing Yahuah did to the earth, He used Nuach {Noach/Noah} to be the reverse of it. Why use Nuach {Noach/Noah}? Nuach {Noach/Noah} found favor and had faith in Yahuah. This later comes out to be how mankind has two lessons to learn. 1. If you have faith in Yahuah then whatever you put your hand to it will prosper {i.e. works}. 2. If you rely on your own works with Yahuah, you would be destroyed. James 2:17 Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:19 You believe that there is one Alahiym; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2:20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Yatskaq (Isaac) his son upon the altar? James 2:22 See you how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed Alahiym, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of Alahiym. James 2:24 You see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. The later days will be like Nuach {Noach/Noah}. Matt. 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matt. 24:36 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the malakiym (messengers/angels) of heaven, but my Father only. Matt. 24:37 But as the days of Nuach {Noach/Noah} were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt. 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Nuach {Noach/Noah} entered into the ark, Matt. 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt. 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matt. 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matt. 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Sovereign does come.

Matt. 24:43 But know this, that if the good-man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Matt. 24:44 Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes. Matt. 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his sovereign has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Matt. 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his sovereign when he comes shall find so doing. Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of Alahiym. Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of Alahiym, and do it. The whole book should be understood that the t [r] uah {1st five books} is the seed. The prophets and the writings is the fruit. This fruit, {whether good or bad} is the product from the seed. The Briyt [h] Chadashah is the reaping of the fruit. We are His servants. We have to have faith. For without faith it is impossible to please Him {Heb. 11:6}. Also faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of Alahiym {Rom. 10:17}. That should cause you think about something. What is the Word of Alahiym when this was written? And has that changed? Let us read some verses before the opening of the t [h] urah portion Barashiyth {Genesis} 6:3 Gen. 6:3 And Yahuah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. o Yahuah said that His Spirit (His Ruach) shall not strive with man forever. Let s hold it here for a minute. The Hebrew word here translated as strive is Ya dun (yud- dalet-uau-nun), which means to abide in, stay or continue with. So, Alahiym s Spirit will not abide in man forever. The root of this word דין this means to plead one s cause, to judge. Why? Gen. 6:12 And Alahiym looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. o The Hebrew reads literally as, כּ י ה שׁ ח ית כּ ל בּ שׂ ר א ת דּ ר כּ וֹ because corrupted all of his flesh his way. Or, you could say he has gone astray in his flesh. o 1Cor. 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Alahiym; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. o Yahuah states that His Ruach will not always stay with, or abide in man. If Alahiym withdraws His Spirit from man.

Gen. 6:5 And Yahuah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that. } כּ ל ה יּ וֹם { continually every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil T [h] urah says that man s every imagination and thought of his heart were evil continually. The words for imagination in Hebrew means to create, form, fashion, and make into shape. Thought and heart used here form the phrase יצר Yetser {invention/ intent} labu or graven image of his thoughts לבו machashabath מחשבת of his inner man (mind or wisdom) { י צ ר מ ח שׁ ב ת ל בּ וֹ }. In other words, Man had made his own mind, his own wisdom, and his own alahiym. Gen. 8:20 And Nuach {Noach/Noah} built an altar unto Yahuah; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. Gen. 8:21 And Yahuah smelled a sweet savour; and Yahuah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man s sake [the ground is no longer cursed] ; for the imagination of man s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. Gen. 8:22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease {four seasons}. Gen. 9:12 And Alahiym said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: Gen. 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token {sign} of a covenant between me and the earth. Gen. 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: Gen. 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Gen. 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between Alahiym and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. Gen. 9:17 And Alahiym said unto Nuach {Noach/Noah}, This is the token {sign} of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. Yahuah now makes a covenant with Nuach {Noach/Noah} and the earth and set His bow in קשת the sky as an oth, a sign. The word translated as bow or rainbow is qashath which translate as rainbow or a battle bow {weapon}. There are many scriptures that relate this bow to Mashiyach, or the sign of the Son of man that will appear in the heaven. We tend to automatically think of a cloud here as a rain cloud. But, let s look at this a minute. The Hebrew word used in these verses for cloud is anah. The word for rain type cloud is ab (ayin- beth). The word anah each time it appears, it is referring to the cloud that contains the Esteem of Yahuah; Ex. 13:21 And Yahuah went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Ex. 14:19 And the malak {messenger/angel} of Alahiym, which went before the camp of

Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: Ex. 16:10 And it came to pass, as Aharoon {Aharon/Aaron} spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the esteem of Yahuah appeared in the cloud. Ex. 19:9 And Yahuah said unto Mushah (Mosheh/Moses), Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you for ever. And Mushah (Mosheh/Moses) told the words of the people unto Yahuah. Ex. 24:16 And the esteem of Yahuah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Mushah (Mosheh/Moses) out of the midst of the cloud. Ex. 24:17 And the sight of the esteem of Yahuah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}. Ex. 34:4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Mushah (Mosheh/Moses) rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as Yahuah had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. Ex. 34:5 And Yahuah descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahuah. Notice the pattern. See how he comes down or descends. What Yahuah is also saying here is that when His cloud covers the earth, in that time of the great darkness, His Bow (His Esteem ~ Mashiyach) will be the Sign of His Covenant in the Cloud. Wow! That reads like what Yahusha said in Matt. 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matt. 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great esteem. Matt. 24:31 And he shall send his malakiym {messengers/angels} with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Acts 1:11 Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Yahusha, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.

This rainbow must be an important sign to Yahuah, as there is one over and around His Throne. Ezek. 1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. o Ex. 24:10 And they saw the Alahiym of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} : and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. Ezek. 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the esteem of Yahuah. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke. Rev. 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. Rev. 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Moving on to the next part of the t [h] urah portion: Gen. 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. Gen. 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. Gen. 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. Gen. 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Gen. 11:5 And Yahuah came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. Gen. 11:6 And Yahuah said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Gen. 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another s speech. Gen. 11:8 So Yahuah scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Gen. 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because Yahuah did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did Yahuah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. There are some patterns that needs to be seen starting from the Garden. Ahdam and Chuah {Eve} in the Garden of Eden

Qaiyn {Cain} and Habel {Abel} The generation of the flood The Tower of Babel What similarities can you find in all four situations here? Adam and Chuah {Eve} sinned and were punished by Alahiym Qaiyn {Cain} sinned and was punished by Alahiym The generation of the flood sinned and was punished by Alahiym The generations of the Tower of Babel sinned and were punished by Alahiym. Each one of these bullets shows judgment being the result of disobedience. The other part that should come to mind is each judgment is the same, scattering/banishing/exile. Ahdam and Chuah {Eve} were banished/exiled from Gan Eden. Gen. 3:23 Therefore Yahuah Alahiym sent him forth from the garden of {Notice He had taken from the Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. outside of the garden and placed him on the inside. But once it was corrupted it could never be allowed back into the Garden} Gen. 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubiyms, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Cain was figuratively banished from the face of. Gen. 4:13 And Qaiyn {Cain} said unto Yahuah, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Gen. 4:14 Behold, you have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from your face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that finds me shall slay me. garash, gaw-rash ; a primitive root; to drive out from a גּ ר שׁ possession; especially to expatriate or divorce: cast up (out), divorced (woman), drive away (forth, out), expel, x surely put away, trouble, thrust out. The generation of the flood was literally banished from the face of the earth when they were taken away by the flood. The generation of the Tower of Babel was banished/scattered/exiled from Shinar. Making a name for yourself: Genesis 2:1-4:26 Man in and out of Gan Eden Gen. 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of Yahuah. properly, chalal, khaw-lal ; a primitive root (compare 2470); ח ל ל

to bore, i.e. (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively, to profane Genesis 5:1-9:29 From Ahdam to Nuach {Noach/Noah} Gen. 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Nuach {Noach/Noah} begat Shem, Cham, and Yapheth. Genesis 10:1-11:9 From Nuach {Noach/Noah} to the Tower of Babel Gen. 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. We can see that instead of uniting to magnify the Name of Yahuah, they are united to magnify the name of man. Yahuah chose Ahbram and one of the first things he did was to call upon the Name of Yahuah Genesis 12:8! Gen. 12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto Yahuah, and called upon the name of Yahuah. As you can see, with the calling of Ahbram, Yahuah s plan is back on track. We are to make His name know, and to be a praise to Him. Ezek. 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, Thus says adan Yahuah; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel}, but for mine setapart name s sake, which you have profaned among the heathen, whither you went. Ezek. 36:23 And I will purify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am Yahuah, says adan Yahuah, when I shall be purified in you before their eyes. Ezek. 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Ezek. 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. Ezek. 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezek. 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them. Ezek. 36:28 And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your Alahiym. Zeph. 3:19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict you: and I will save her that halts, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. Zeph. 3:20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your

captivity before your eyes, says Yahuah. Heb. 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to Alahiym continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Is. 14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Hiylal, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! Is. 14:13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Alahiym: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Is. 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 2Th. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th. 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Alahiym, or that is worshipped; so that he as Alahiym sits in the temple of Alahiym, showing himself that he is Alahiym. Gen. 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die: Gen. 3:5 For Alahiym does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as alahiym, knowing good and evil. Remember what was said at the tower of Babel? Gen. 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Gen. 1:26 And Alahiym said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:. Gen. 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another s speech. Is. 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yahuah s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Is. 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahuah, to the house of the Alahiym of Ya aqub {Ya aqob/jacob} ; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahuah from Jerusalem. o Rev. 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father s name written in their {What are the requirements to have the Name of the Father on You}? foreheads. Is. 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Is. 2:5 O house of Ya aqub {Ya aqob/jacob}, come you, and let us walk in the light of Yahuah.

Zeph. 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Yahuah, to serve him with one consent. Haftarah: Is. 54:1 Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says Yahuah. Is. 54:2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations: spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes; Is. 54:3 For you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. Is. 54:4 Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be you confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. Is. 54:5 For your Maker is your husband; Yahuah of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Set-apart One of Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} ; The Alahiym of the whole earth shall he be called. Is. 54:6 For Yahuah has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when you was refused, says your Alahiym. Is. 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. Is. 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on you, says Yahuah your Redeemer. Is. 54:9 For this is as the waters of Nuach {Noach/Noah} unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Nuach {Noach/Noah} should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with you, nor rebuke you. Is. 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says Yahuah that has mercy on you. Is. 54:11 O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. Is. 54:12 And I will make your windows of agates, and your gates of carbuncles, and all your borders of pleasant stones. Is. 54:13 And all your children shall be taught of Yahuah; and great shall be the peace of your children. Is. 54:14 In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you. Is. 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. Is. 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. Is. 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahuah, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahuah. Yashayahu says; Seek Yahuah while He is to be found, call on Him while He is near.

The Three Signs. These signs will let Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} know that Yahuah knows what happen, and what they been through.

The Three Signs. These signs will let Yashra al {Yisrael/Israel} know that Yahuah knows what happen, and what they been through. The Three Signs Ex. 3:7 And Yahuah said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Mitsraiym {Egypt}, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
