FIQH SYLLABUS CLASS 4 (7 YEARS OLD) TOPIC 1: TOPIC 2: TOPIC 3: TOPIC 4: TOPIC 5: TOPIC 6: TOPIC 7: TOPIC 8: TOPIC 9: ALLAH LOVES US AND WE LOVE ALLAH NIYYAT IN THE NAME OF ALLAH USOOL-E-DEEN - INTRODUCTION TAWHEED ADAALAT NABUWWAT IMAMAT QIYAMAT TOPIC 10: INTRODUCTION TO NAJASAT TOPIC 11: MUTTAHIRAT TOPIC 12: TAHARAT TOPIC 13: THE PREPARATION OF SALAAT TOPIC 14: THINGS THAT BREAK WUDHU TOPIC 15: THINGS THAT BREAK SALAAT TOPIC 16: SALAAT TIMINGS TOPIC 17: NIYYAT IN SALAAT TOPIC 18: TA'QIBAAT - TASBEEH TOPIC 19: TA QIBAAT - ZIYARAT TOPIC 20: LEARNING THE ADHAN AND IKAMAH TOPIC 21: WUDHU AND SALAAT ASSESSMENT SUMMARY TOPIC 22: SAWM MY Fiqh Teacher is Phone Number Fiqh Page 4.1

TOPIC 1: ALLAH LOVES US AND WE LOVE ALLAH: To love Allah, we must obey Him How do we obey Him? We obey Allah by: a. Doing the things He would love us to do like thanking Him by offering Salaat, being kind to our parents, etc... b. Not doing the things He would not like for us to do, like staying away from acts like, stealing, eating food while it s still too hot, etc Now you know. We are Muslims and follow Islam because we Love Allah and obey the will of Allah Islam is the religion of Allah. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an in: Sura Ali Imran verse 19: "Indeed the religion with Allah is Islam." (3:19) All 124,000 Prophets, from Prophet Adam to Prophet Muhammad (S) taught the people to believe in, obey and worship only One God. Everything that we do, we must: - Do with the intention of Pleasing Allah only AND Everything we have we must: - Always remember to thank Allah. Fiqh Page 4.2

TOPIC 2: NIYYAT Niyyat means our Intention. In everything we do in our daily lives, we must make sure that our Niyyat for doing it, is only to please Allah i.e. Qurbatan ilallah. So, everything we do, we should know why we are doing it and should always be aware of it; i.e. For the pleasure of Allah Qurbatan ilallah - whether it is Salaat, Fasting, or any good deed like listening to our mums or not being rude or helping a friend with something or respecting our teacher. For ANY good action we should always think that we are doing this because Allah is watching us and knows what we are doing at all times, and this action will make Him pleased with us. In the same way, if you have a teacher who is really really nice to us, we feel more that we want to be a good student for them so they are proud of us, or if we have a friend who is always really really nice to us and always gives us nice presents, we want to keep them as a friend and make them like us more and give them gifts in return, -- in the same way Allah loves us so so so much and has given us so many things, we should want to do all the things that will make him pleased with us and be good people so that he is pleased with us and proud of us. Every morning we should think to ourselves that I want to be a good person today so Allah is pleased with me (Qurbatan ilallah). During the day, before doing anything, we should think to ourselves Allah is watching me. Will he be pleased if I do this? If the answer is yes then we should do it because we want to please him. If the answer is no then we should not do it. Now you know I must do everything in my life with the Niyyat of Qurbatan ilallah because I want to please Allah all the time. Fiqh Page 4.3

ACTIVITY look at the following pics and discuss in your class whether it is something you would do or not according to whether it will please Allah or not. Should I take this money or not? My friends has just asked me if she can borrow my book. Should I lend it to her? Dad said not to worry about cleaning the room, he would do it later, but it is messy. Should we clean it? Mum just said it is time for Salaat should we just finish watching our programme first? Should I take the sweets? Or should I pay for them? It was his money that I picked up earlier. Should I return to him? But then he will know I picked up money from the ground that wasn t mine. What shall I do? Fiqh Page 4.4

THANK YOU ALLAH Thank you Allah for the honey from bees, Thank you Allah for the wood from trees. Thank you Allah for the sky so blue, Thank you Allah for the flowers, too. Thank you Allah, For all of your blessings, Thank you Allah for everything. Thank you Allah for the clouds so high, Thank you Allah for the birds that fly. Thank you Allah for the shells on the beach, Thank you Allah for the things You teach. Thank you Allah, For all of your blessings Thank you Allah for everything. Thank you Allah for the cool breeze, Thank you Allah for the shady leaves. Thank you Allah for the Holy Qur'an Thank you Allah for our way of life, Islam Thank you Allah, For all of your blessings Thank you Allah for everything. Fiqh Page 4.5

TOPIC 3: IN THE NAME OF ALLAH I begin in the name of Allah the most kind the most merciful ALLAH has blessed us with so many blessings and given us so much therefore we should remember him before we start anything by saying: I begin in the name of Allah the most kind the most merciful. Now you know. When we make it a habit to say Allah helps us and keeps Shaitan away from us so he cannot come and try to spoil what we are doing. Fiqh Page 4.6

STORY ON BISMILLAH: STOP!!! Prophet Muhammad (S) has said that on the Day of Judgement there will be some people who will have to go Jahannam because of their bad deeds. However from these people there will be some who in the world always had the habit of saying before they did anything, or entered anywhere. When these people will be taken to Jahannam by the angel, they will be very sad but they will say before they enter the door of Jahannam as it was their habit to do before they entered their homes. Allah will tell the angels STOP! He will say that He cannot let someone who takes His name enter Jahannam. I BEGIN IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST KIND, THE MOST MERCIFUL. Fiqh Page 4.7

TOPIC 4: USOOL-E-DIN INTRODUCTION: Just as a tree is made up of roots and branches so is the religion of Islam. Usool-e-din = the roots of the religion Furoo-e-din = the branches of the religion Just as in a tree the roots are more important to the tree then the branches, so in Islam the Usool is more important for our Faith then Furoo. If in a tree the branches of the tree were to be chopped off the tree would still live and the branches would grow back slowly, but if the roots of the tree were to be chopped off, the tree would die. Dead tree Weak roots If we did not understand the Usool (roots) then our Faith would die because these are basic beliefs of Islam. Every Muslim has to understand Usool to the best of their ability. Now you know. Usool-e-din (roots of religion) are 5: Tawheed - Allah is One. Adaalat - Allah is Just. Nabuwwat - Allah sent 124,000 Prophets to guide us. Imamat - Allah sent 12 Imams to guide us. Qiyamat - The Day of Judgement. Fiqh Page 4.8

USUL-E-DIN POEM Usul-e-din, Usul-e-din, The roots of Islam are five, The roots of Islam are five, Tawheed, Adaalat, Nabuwwat, Imamat, and Qiyamat, Usul-e-din, Usul-e-din, Allah is one and He is just Allah is one and He is just Prophets He sent many to guide us Prophets He sent many to guide us Imams twelve He also sent us Imams twelve He also sent us And on the Day of Judgement He will ask us, What did you do? What did you do? Oh my creatures on the earth! Fiqh Page 4.9

TOPIC 5: TAWHEED: Tawheed means that there is only One God. Allah explains about Tawheed in the Holy Qur'an in Suratul Ikhlas: Fun Facts about Suratul Ikhlas - It was revealed in Makkah - It has four verses - It is Surah number 112 in the Holy Qur an - It is one of the most important Surahs of the Holy Qur an. - It was revealed when the Jews asked our Holy Prophet (S) to describe Allah Let us look at this Surah and try and understand how it explains that there is no God except Allah. Al-Ikhlas means The Unity this means that Suratul Ikhlaq describes the qualities of Allah very well and because it explains how and why there is only one God and that is Allah, this Surah is sometimes called Tawhid. Next we must try and learn this beautiful short Surah: WOW FACTS!! DID YOU KNOW THAT??? The Thawab of reciting this Surah three times is the same as that for finishing the recitation of the whole Qur an When this Surah is recited once, Allah's blessings are showered on the person who is reciting; if recited twice, then Allah blesses the recite and his/her family too; and if recited thrice, then Allah s Blessings are showered on the recite, his/her family and on his/her neighbours as well!!!! ãè ãcáäoâb ãìçåcáäoâb ãðãâb ãèåtãq ý1þ çkácáf âðáäãâb áòâî åä⺠ý2þ âkáçáä ÂB âðáäãâb ý3þ åkáâòâö åèáâáñ åkããáö åèáâ ý4þ çkácáf BæÒâ â¾ âðáäâ Ìâ áö åèáâáñ Now you know. When you believe in Tawheed it means that you believe: - there is only One God whom you Worship - that He is the only One on Whom you rely for everything AND - He is the one that you do everything for. When you truly rely on Allah for everything, you will not need anyone else or be afraid of anyone else. Fiqh Page

STORY: EXISTANCE OF ALLAH THE SPINNING WHEEL Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) was once walking with his companions when he saw an old lady working at a spinning wheel. Whilst she was working she was praising Allah for all that He had given her. Our Prophet (S) greeted her and asked her, Your faith is admirable; will you tell me what made you believe in Allah? The woman answered, O Messenger of Allah! If I do not move my spinning wheel, it does not spin. If a simple thing like my spinning wheel cannot turn without help how can it be possible that the whole universe can operate so efficiently without a driving force. There must be a Great one running it. A Great Being who controls every atom. The Great One can only be Allah, Who is the Creator and Master of everything. The Prophet (S) was very pleased with the old woman s reply. Turning to his companions he said, See how this old lady came to know about Allah through such a fine and simple way. Your faith in Allah should also be as firm as hers. Fiqh Page

TOPIC 6: ADAALAT: Adaalat = Allah is Just. When the word Justice is used for Allah, it means that He keeps a balance between the needs of all His creatures. In a town lived a doctor, a jeweller and a thief. Doctor Jeweller Thief In the morning, they all prayed to Allah to increase His blessings to them. That day, the thief wanted to go and rob the jeweller. Instead he fell ill and had to go to the doctor. The jeweller did not make much money at all that day, because it rained and all his customers stayed at home. Now let us study this story. The thief fell ill - so it seems that he was treated unfairly by Allah. The doctor got an extra patient (the thief!) so it seems he was treated fairly by Allah. The jeweller lost business because it rained, so it seems Allah treated him unfairly. So was Allah Just to all of them? We see that fairness and unfairness does not describe Adaalat fully. To understand it we must realise that Allah keeps a balance between the needs of all His creatures. Now you know. Allah's Justice does not mean that Allah is equal to everyone. Equal and just are not the same thing. Fiqh Page

Now let is study the story again. The doctor did get blessings from Allah because he got an extra patient. The thief did get blessings from Allah because his illness saved him from the sin of stealing. The jeweller did get blessings from Allah because even though he did not do much business, he was not robbed. So we see that Adaalat means that Allah is Just because He keeps a balance between the needs of all His creatures. WORKSHEET: ADAALAT: 1. How was Allah fair to the jeweller?. 2. When we say that Allah is Just do we mean that he will put everybody in heaven?. 3. How was Allah fair to the thief?. Fiqh Page

TOPIC 7: NABUWWAT We want to go to the Nature Trail to see all these animals, but we do not know our way around. What should we do? We should get a guide to show us the right way around the Nature Trail. What type of a person should a guide be? 1. Should he know the way correctly? 2. Should he be honest? 3. Should he make a mistake in guiding us? 4. Should we be able to trust him to look after us and not leave us alone in the park where we do not know the way? Allah sent us 124,000 Prophets to guide us. Our first Prophet is Prophet Adam (A) and our last Prophet is Prophet Muhammad (S) A Prophet is someone we can trust. He is an honest person whom Allah has chosen to guide us. Allah has taught the Prophets to teach us which path to take in this world and in the hereafter. Allah knows that the person He has chosen as Prophet is an honest person who keeps away from all bad deeds. Each Prophet brought the message of Allah in stages. How much they brought depended on how much their people would be able to understand. As the people developed and could understand more, Allah revealed more of the message of Islam to them through the Prophet of their time. It was not until the time of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) that Allah revealed the whole message of Islam. The Prophets usually had their new set of laws (Shari'ah) written into a book. These books are known as Divine books. The Divine Book revealed to our Holy Prophet (S) is called Qur an Now you know. Prophets are there to show us how to be good Muslims and to teach us just like teachers. They are human like us, so that we can copy them, and they can be an example for us. Fiqh Page

STORY: PROPHET MUHAMMAD (S) AND THE OLD LADY: There was once an old woman who was very naughty. She used to throw rubbish on the Holy Prophet (S) everyday when he passed her house. But he was a very patient man, and never got angry with her. One day, when the Holy Prophet (S) passed the old woman's house, she did not throw rubbish on him. He stopped and asked a neighbour why the old woman was not there. The neighbour told him the old woman was sick and in bed. So, the Prophet went to see her, because it is good to visit people who are ill. When the old woman saw him, she thought he had come to tell her off when she was too ill to shout back at him. Prophet Muhammad (S) told the old woman that he had come to see her because Allah tells us to look after people who are ill. The old woman was very surprised that the Prophet (S) was so kind to her after she had been so mean to him. She decided right away to listen to him and she became a Muslim saying: There is no God except Allah. Prophet Muhammad (S) is the messenger of Allah. Now you know. Prophet Muhammad (S) taught us: To be kind to people even if they are mean to us. Go to see people who are ill and help them. Fiqh Page

TOPIC 8: IMAMAT: An Imam is a guide and leader Just like a Prophet, the Imam must be the most perfect person in his time in everything. Just like a builder who builds a building; Prophet Muhammad (S) built Islam up till it was perfect. Imams are those who look after the religion just like the caretaker who looks after the building. Imams must be chosen by Allah. They must not do anything that displeases Allah and they must also be able to perform miracles. Our last Imam (A), Imam Muhammad Mahdi (A) is alive and is with us all the time. He guides us but it is up to us to remember him and make him happy. At the end of every week what we have done during the week is checked by our Imam (A). All our good deeds make him happy but all our bad deeds make him sad So we have to be careful not to make him unhappy. Also remember when we hear his name we should: - stand up - put our right hand on our head AND - bow our head down, to show our respect for him. Our Holy Prophet (S) has said that any Muslim who dies without knowing the Imam of his time dies the death of a non-believer. Now you know. Just like the Prophets, the A-immah have to be: chosen by Allah, Ma'sum - not commit any sin, not even by mistake. able to perform miracles the person at that time with the best Akhlaq and the most Knowledge Fiqh Page

Here are some of the things you must do to make the Imam happy. To love your parents Pray on time Being Kind to your little brother or sister ACITIVITY: Draw what else you think you can do that will make OUR Imam happy. Fiqh Page

POEM LEARNING THE NAMES OF OUR THE 12 IMAMS: The 1 st is Ali (A) The 2 nd Hassan (A) The 3 rd is Husain (A) The 4 th Ali Zainul Aabideen (A) The 5 th is Muhammad Al Baqir The 6 th Ja far As Sadiq The 7 th is Musa Al Kadhim The 8 th Ali Ar Ridha The 9 th is Muhammad At Taqi The 10 th Aliyyun Naqi The 11 th is Hassan Al Askari And the Imam of our time is Muhammad Al Mahdi May Allah Bless them all Peace of Allah be on all of them! Fiqh Page

TOPIC 9: QIYAMAT: Qiyamat means the day of Judgement. Qiyamat = belief in the Day of Judgement. It is the day that we will account for all our actions in this world. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an in Suratul Mulk Verse 2: "It is He who has created death and life, that He may test which of you does the best of deeds " (67:2) Why does there have to be Qiyamat? - Allah did not create us without purpose, so that when we die that is the end of us. - Divine Justice. Not all good can be repaid in this world. E.g. building a Mosque, teaching a child about Allah these actions are called Thawaabe Jaari Now you know. So, we need a Day of Judgement to sort out the account of all our deeds. The Hereafter: We are told here that no matter how wonderful we think Heaven is going to be, it will be better. We will never be able to imagine how wonderful it really will be. Everyone was made in this world to go to Heaven. If we always do what Allah has told us to do and stay away from whatever Allah has told us to stay away from, then, we will all end up in Jannat.. Fiqh Page

WORKSHEET: QIYAMAT: Why is there a need to have Qiyamat? There has to be a Day of Judgement because:. Some of the people, amongst A,B,C,D and E, are Kafirs and cannot seem to find the direct road to heaven. Find out who they are and write down about 3 things that they could do to help them reach Jannat. 1: 2: 3: Fiqh Page

TOPIC 10: INTRODUCTION TO NAJASAT Najasaat means those things which are considered unclean by Shariah because they are always Najis they are called Ayn Najis For Najasaat to spread from one place to another, either the Najis thing or the Pak thing must be wet and also that the Najis thing must touch the Pak thing. For Example if a man is walking his dog and they walk past you, you do not become Najis even though the dog is Ayn Najis because it didn t touch you BUT if the dog comes and licks your hand then because the tongue is wet and it touched your hand, now your hand is Najis and needs to be made Pak Some of the Ayn Najasaats are: Urine and Stool Blood Pig Dog Now you know. Things that are Najis will make other things Najis when: They are wet AND They are touched by the Najis thing Fiqh Page

TOPIC 11: MUTTAHIRAT: There are 12 Mutahhiraat but the most common one is Water. WATER = 2 KINDS MUTLAQ = Pure Water MUDHAF = Mixed Water Mutlaq Water - Is water that has not changed in colour, taste or smell. - Can make a Najis thing Pak - E.g. Tap water Mudhaf Water - Cannot make a Najis thing Pak - Becomes Najis when in contact with Najasaat - E.g. Lemon Juice Now you know. Mutahhiraat are those things that make a Najis thing Paak. Mutlaq water can make a nagis thing PAK Mudhaf water cannot make najis thing PAK Fiqh Page

TOPIC 12: TAHARAT Before we get ready for performing Wudhu and offering our Salaat we must make sure that our body and clothes are not just clean but more importantly that they should be Pak When there is dirt on our body or clothes and we wash it we say our body or clothes are clean BUT when something Najis comes into our contact there is a special way to remove the Najasat so that our body or clothes are not only clean but that they are PAK To make body or cloth Pak when it has become Najis with Urine. BODY CLOTHES Fiqh Page

To make body or cloth Pak when it has become Najis with Najasaat other than Urine BODY CLOTHES Fiqh Page

TOPIC 13: PREPARATION OF SALAAT: Before starting Salaat, we must prepare ourselves in the following manner: OUR BODY MUST BE CLEAN AND PAK TAHARAT WUDHOO MUST BE PERFORMED CLOTHES OF SALAAH MUST BE PAK QIBLAH WE MUST KNOW IN WHICH DIRECTION TO FACE PLACE OF PRAYER MUST BE PAAK AND NOT GHASBI TIME OF SALAAH WE MUST KNOW THE RIGHT TIME FOR OFFERING OUR SALAAH Fiqh Page

TOPIC 14: THINGS THAT BREAK WUDHU: Going to the toilet. Passing Wind [Stomach Wind] Whoops!! Have to do Wudhu again!! Sleeping Becoming unconscious Now you know. Only 4 things break wudhu Fiqh Page

TOPIC 15: THINGS THAT BREAK SALAAT: Some of the things that break Salaat (make it Batil) are: - All the things that make Wudhu Batil. E.g. going to the toilet, falling asleep, etc. - Turning away from Qiblah - Eating or drinking. - Speaking - except to reply to Salaam with the same answer (Salaam) - Laughing - Folding your arms intentionally. ACTIVITY: THINGS THAT BREAK SALAAT: Hassan and Husain were praying their Salaat. Write down all the things that they must not do, otherwise their Salaat will be Batil. This is really funny I think I just swallowed my chewing gum! but we shouldn t be talking shh Hey, don t push me! From the picture above, the things that break their Salaat are: a. b. c. d. Fiqh Page

TOPIC 16: TIMINGS OF SALAAT Allah has set the timings for Salaat at different times of the day to remind us all the time that He is there to help us all we have to do is ask. Timing in more detail: Fajr Salaat: From True Dawn up to Sunrise. Dhohrain Salaat: From Midday Noon up to Sunset. Maghribain Salaat: From the time the sun sets (the redness in the sky disappears) up to Midnight. Now you know. Although Allah has given us so much time in which to pray, we should try to pray as soon as the time sets in for that Salaat (Fadhilat - best time), because we cannot wait to thank Allah in the way He likes us to, for all the wonderful things He has given us. Fiqh Page

ACTIVITY: SALAAT TIMINGS: Write the timings for each Salaat for the whole week: Mon Tue Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun Fajr Dhohr Asr Maghrib Eisha Now write the timings when you prayed each Salaat during this week: Mon Tue Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun Fajr Dhohr Asr Maghrib Eisha Fiqh Page

TOPIC 17: NIYYAT IN SALAAT: Niyyat = intention = what you are going to do. Before you do any action you should make the habit of doing Niyyat, even if the action is a necessity, E.g. eating In this way you will get Thawaab for all these actions. In certain actions the Niyyat is Wajib (you have to do it). Wajib = you have to do it E.g.: Salaat Before you start your Salaat you have to do Niyyat. When making this Niyyat you must: - Say which Salaat you are about to pray. - Say whether the Salaat is Wajib or Mustahab - Say whether the Salaat is Ada (on time) or Qadha (after time). - Say Qurbatan Ilallah that the Salaat is only for the pleasure of Allah - Make sure that the Niyyat remains the same up to the end of your Salaat. Now you know.. And your Niyyat should be that, whatever you are doing, for the pleasure of Allah - "Qurbatan ilallah". STORY ABOUT NIYYAT: There was once a very pious man who used to wake up early in the morning before Fajr Salaat to pray Salaat of Tahajjud (Shab). One morning he was praying his Salaat in the Mosque, when he heard a noise behind him. He thought to himself that, someone had come into the Mosque, so he started praying his Salaat slower and more beautifully, to impress the person who had come in. Fiqh Page

The man prayed his Salaat so beautifully and so slowly, making sure that he said each word clearly, that it took him twice as long as normal to finish the Salaat. When at last he finished he turned around to see who it was that had come into the Mosque, and he saw sitting there a dog, who had wandered in. The man had got up early in the morning and spent so much time and effort to pray his Salaat and all for a dog! To see if your Niyyat is "Qurbatan ilallah" look at how you pray your Salaat when you are at home on your own and when you are at Mosque where everyone can see you. If there is a difference in the way you pray then your Niyyat is NOT only "Qurbatan ilallah". Remember you will NOT get Thawaab if you are doing it for anyone except Allah. Also remember we must pray within the time that Allah has set for us so that when we say our Niyyat for all our Salaat, we can say we are praying our Salaat Ada this means within the time Allah has set If we do not pray within the time set by Allah, then when we say our Niyyat, we will have to say we are praying our Salaat Qadha this means we are praying after the time Allah has set for us Fiqh Page

ACTIVITY: NIYYAT IN SALAAT: Draw below what the man was doing for the dog. Why did the man not get any Thawaab for His Salaat? He did not get any Thawaab because:. What does Niyyat mean? Niyyat means:. What does 'Qurbatan ilallah' mean? It means:. When should you do Niyyat? You should do Niyyat:. Fiqh Page

TOPIC 18: TA'QIBAAT TASBEEH: Ta'qibaat is the recitation of Qur'an, Du'as, Tasbeeh and Ziyarat after the Salaat. The Tasbeeh that we recite after our Salaat is known as the Tasbeeh of Bibi Fatima Az-Zahra (A) because her father, our Holy Prophet, Prophet Muhammad (S), gave her this as a present. The Salaat is like a beautiful flower and the Tasbeeh of Bibi Fatima Az-Zahra (A) gives that beautiful flower a beautiful smell. So after every Salaat we should say the Tasbeeh of Bibi Fatima (A) because we want our Salaat to be like a beautiful flower with a beautiful smell. The Tasbeeh of Bibi Fatima az-zahra (A) is: Allah is the Greatest - 34 times All praise is to Allah - 33 times Glory to Allah - 33 times After you have recited the Tasbeeh, you should go down to Sajdah to thank Allah for everything He has given you and to ask Allah for whatever you wish. Then recite Ziyarat: Fiqh Page

TOPIC 19: TA QIBAAT: ZIYARAT: Fiqh Class 4 - Lesson 16 THINGS WHICH BREAK WUDHU Some of the things which break Wudhu (make Wudhu Batil) are: 1. Urine and Stool. If after performing Wudhu you go to the toilet to pass urine or stool, your Wudhu is batil and you have to do Wudhu again. 2. Passing gas from the Stomach. If you have performed Wudhu and then pass gas from the stomach, your Wudhu is batil. 3. Sleep. If you sleep after having done Wudhu, your Wudhu is batil. eg. If you sleep at night after doing Wudhu you cannot pray your Fajr Salaat without redoing your Wudhu because your Wudhu became batil when you slept. 4. Unconsciousness. If after having done Wudhu you lose consciousness (eg. fainting) your Wudhu is batil. WORKSHEET 16 Talib is doing Wudhu. Write in each circle the things he must remember not to do, otherwise his wudhu will became Batil. Copyright All rights Reserved. Learn the Ziyarat and try and recite after you Salaat everyday. 35 TOPIC 20: LEARNING THE ADHAN AND IKAMAH Adhan - The Call to Salaat Allah is the Greatest 4 times I bear witness there is no god but Allah. I bear witness Muhammad is the messenger of Allah 2 times 2 times I bear witness Ali is the vicegerent of Allah. 2 times Hasten to prayer 2 times Hasten to success 2 times Hasten to the best deed 2 times Allah is the Greatest 2 times There is no god but Allah 2 times Ikamah - The recitation just before Salaat Allah is the Greatest 2 times I bear witness there is no god but Allah I bear witness Muhammad is the messenger of Allah 2 times 2 times I bear witness Ali is the vicegerent of Allah 2 times Hasten to prayer 2 times Hasten to success 2 times Hasten to the best deed 2 times Indeed the prayer has begun 2 times Allah is the Greatest 2 times There is no god but Allah Once Fiqh Page

TOPIC 22: SAWM: Sawm means fasting Fasting means that we should not eat or drink from Subhe Sadiq which is also called true dawn which is about just before the time of Fajr Salaat till Maghrib time which is just after sunset. It is Wajib to fast in the month of Ramadhan. The month of Ramadhan is the Holiest month in the Islamic calendar. Amongst the blessings of this month is the special night called the Night of Qadr, this night is special because the Holy Qur an was revealed on this night. In this month, every action, whether good or bad, carries more weight. For example: - reciting the Holy Qur'an is good at all times, but it is a lot better to recite Qur an during the month of Ramadhan; AND - helping you Mummy and Daddy is good at all times but it is a lot better to help them during the month of Ramadhan However, Sawm does not mean just staying hungry and thirsty throughout the day, but also to stay away from Haraam things as well. For example: - we must not take things without permission or - tell lies or - be mean to anybody We fast during the month of Ramadhan because helps us to: - Be stronger when it comes to doing only things that make - Allah happy with us - Think of the people who are not as lucky as you are. - Think of Allah more often throughout the day. - Clean up your digestive system. - Change the way your life is to become a better Muslim.
