3 LESSON 1 TIME IS IMPORTANT 1. Here are good things we do. Tick the boxes to show when you do these things. Morning Afternoon Evening Night 2

4 2. It is time to wake up. All these show pictures of kids about to go to school. Tick the ones who are doing the correct thing before going to school and cross the ones who are doing the wrong things. 1. 6 HOMEWORK 1 NAME DATE 1. Here is a naughty satan! He wants you to do things at the wrong times. Here are some things he wants us to do. Sleep when it is time to pray. Watch TV when it is time to help mum. Spend when it is time to give. Over use the bathroom. Under clean yourself. Talk too much. Think of other things satan makes you do at the wrong time (parents to help children think of some things they do at the wrong time.) 2. Count how many clocks there are in your home. Then draw one of them and in it write down the names of the times when you should pray namaz. Do this on a blank page. 3. Try to work out how many minutes or hours you do these things every day. 16 LESSON 4 STOPPING TO SIN 1.Here are some bad things people do! What are they doing bad in each picture? Put cross around all those people who are doing wrong to others. Which one do you think you would do if you listened to satan? 15

17 2. Mum and dad have been angry at the children for fighting. Satan wants the children to cry and shout at the parents. But good children will not listen to satan. Instead they say SORRY. But to say sorry you have to jump over the hurdles satan has set up. Which of these hurdles do they have to jump in order to be able to say SORRY. Underline the key word in each hurdle. TOO PROUD TO SAY SORRY IGNORING THE PARENTS CAN T STOP BLAMING OTHERS FIGHTING AGAIN TELLING LIES Make a card saying sorry to your mum and dad for something which has made them angry. For example your granddad may be a person who always keeps his work and so use his name. To do this get help from your parents. (Parents to see if the children can say the phrases like Salaams, thank you, sorry etc. Parents to also use books with pictures to broaden the imagination of children on where and when to use these phrases) Children say bismillah. Now make wall chart of all the phrases and put it on your wall so that you can learn all the sayings. There is a special thing to say when you want knowledge. Find out what it is! 28

Question them about whether the set of pictures show good habit or bad habit and how things can be improved. Ask the child what they learn from these. Ask if delaying going to toilet is good and consequences. Ask what is a effect of an untidy bedroom, when to wash hands and how. Also how to shower and when!
