Blessings from, Sister Alberta and Sister Dominic, OSF SUPPORT GROUP FOR GRIEVING PARENTS The Office of Family Life Ministries of the Archdiocese of Newark sponsors two support groups for Parents Grieving the Death of a Child. Groups meet year round on the first Wednesday of each month at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Center, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield, and on the third Monday of each month at St. Peter the Apostle Parish Center, 445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge. There is no preregistration and there is no fee. Religion classes are not only for the Sacraments but are to help children grow in their faith; religious instruction is continuous. Sacramental Classes (First Eucharist/Confirmation) are a two-year preparation. Any questions, please call Georgene at St. Anne s Rectory Rectory Office Hours As previously published in church bulletin of February 10, Please note that the rectory hours are as follows, unless otherwise noted: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday, 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM Sunday, 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM All office staff are entitled to a lunch break of at least half an hour, which is usually taken from 12PM to 12:30PM on weekdays, and 3PM to 4PM on Saturdays. It is the policy of the Archdiocese of Newark that all staff are off on legal and/or public holidays; therefore, the office will be closed on legal and/or public holidays.

6 FESTIVAL: SODA AND WATER DONATIONS The Festival Committee 2013 will begin Soda Sunday...and Saturday Nights too! Each weekend beginning June 23rd thru July 14th, we re asking parishioners to donate cases of soda (regular or diet) and water to help lower our costs for the festival. With summer here, you re sure to spot great discounts on cases of soda and water at your local supermarket; so when you do, please pick 1 up and drop it off in the church vestibule on your way to Mass during any of our Soda Sundays...and Saturday Nights and we ll keep them on ice for you until the festival! Many thanks in advance for your continued generosity. Festival The Sweet Life Booth We re celebrating a SWEET LIFE at this year s candy booth by featuring candy from around the world. Get ready to take your taste buds on a delicious worldwide tour. As in previous years it is your help and generosity that will make our booth truly successful. TRIP TO SHRINE OF PADRE PIO The Saint Padre Pio Prayer Group of Saint Anne s Church on Kennedy Boulevard invites you to join them on a one-day bus trip to the Shrine of Padre Pio in Barto, PA on Saturday, September 21, Bus leave from St. Anne s Church at 8:30 AM Bus will leave Shrine to return at 4:30 PM.
