3 August 30, 2015 Page 3 JOURNEY OF FAITH The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into: Believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation) Living with the Church community (practical formation) Praying with the Church community (liturgical formation) Serving with the Church community (apostolic formation) The RCIA is intended to serve: *The unbaptized who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith. *Those baptized in another Christian denomination who would like to become Catholic. *Those baptized Catholics who have not received both Holy Communion and Confirmation The RCIA process is much more than a program; it is a learning & loving process in which conversion of the heart brings one to Christ in a powerful manner; it is an answer to the Gospel invitation, Come to me all you who are weary and find life burdensome, and I will refresh you. If you or someone you know (family member, friend, co-worker) would be interested in joining the RCIA program, please contact the parish office, or speak with Fr. Peter Samborski or Dcn. Mariusz Kosla no later than September 10th. Meetings/classes will begin in mid-september in preparation for reception of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil on March 26th 2016.

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Christ's followers were skeptical when He preached the reality of His Body and Blood as food and drink. St. John said, "many of His disciples withdrew and no longer went about with Him." Seeing this, Jesus asked the Twelve, "Do you also want to leave me?" Simon Peter did not understand any more than those who left Christ, but his loyalty was more firm. "Lord," he said, "to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life." We have the "Word of Eternal Life" right here with us day and night in our Adoration Chapel. Do you have something you want to ask Him? There are several hours needing adorers. Please pick one for your personal hour with Him.
