Implant those truths within my heart and mind, and move me to put those truths into practice in my life. Strengthen me with Your power, O God, and send Your Spirit to work within me, so that I might ever prove faithful to You, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

5 Our Confession of Faith in the Nicene Creed I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible. 8 Distribution Our Practice of Close Communion We believe that God desires unity of faith and confession among all who commune together. All communicant members of Immanuel and of our sister congregations in the CLC (Church of the Lutheran Confession) are welcome at the Lord's Table. If there are visitors present who wish to commune with us in the future, you are invited to speak with the Pastor about this at your convenience. For more information pick up the tract from the narthex titled Why Close Communion. Communing Members who have difficulty at the kneeling rail may sit in the front pew on either side. The pastors will bring communion to you there. Any communicants sitting in the balcony should please come down to the narthex for direction to the table. Communicants are ushered to the communion table. If you desire the bread in your hand, simply extend your hand to the Pastor as he approaches you with the bread. Those desiring an individual cup, please take a cup when the tray is offered. The common cup will immediately follow. Please dispose of your individual cup in the baskets located behind each pillar or in the center aisle. Mission Helper Trip: Thank-you to everyone who helped raise over $3,500 to help two of our young people going on the Mission Helper Trip to Nepal this summer. The total cost for the two will be approximately $7,000, so we have raised half of the money necessary to assist them. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! (Psalm 106:1) Pilgrims Rest Cemetery Board Meeting: There will be a Cemetery Board Meeting on February 7th, at 6:30 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran School in the Social Studies classroom. Brunch: The ILHS Senior Class of 2017 invites you to a brunch following the church service next Sunday, February 12th. A free will donation will be accepted. Proceeds are used to fund their Senior Class trip in April. Recessed ANNUAL Congregational MEETING will continue on Monday, February 13, 7:00 p.m. Agenda includes: passing Immanuel s 2017 Budget, plus any old or new business that comes up. We encourage our voters attendance and involvement at this meeting. Darlene Woods, Jevne Clobes, Axton Becker were released from membership per their requests. Joe Casto per his request was with regret released from voting membership (his church membership remains). Ted Schreyer was elected Congregational President. Alan Olmanson was elected Congregational Secretary. Mark Geiger, Lee Becker, and Tom Lentz were re-elected to the auditing committee. Ryan Hammett and Bennett Olmanson were elected as delegates to the CLC. Nick Stelter and Paul Bade was elected as alternate delegates. Annual reports were considered. The Treasurer's Report showed a General Fund year end balance of -5, Calling for three full-time teachers was approved. Mrs. Kristen Friedrichs was called to fill the High School Social Studies position. Mr. Brandan Heinze was called to fill the Science or Math position. A motion to help Pastor Naumann purchase a house with a loan was tabled. David Lueck, Bob Timm and the other volunteers were thanked for their work entering the cemetery information into the computer. The Cemetery Board was thanked for their many hours spent managing the 14

15 cemetery. Scott Kruse and his helpers were thanked for the work maintaining the cemetery. Pastor Nolting announced that he has the call to Valentine, Nebraska. Annual reports were considered. A budget proposal was presented by the Finance Committee. We set our CLC CBP estimate at $58,000 (a 3.6% increase over last year actual). The meeting was recessed to February 13, 2016 at 7:00pm.
