3 Announcements P Our help is in the name of the Lord, C who made heaven and earth. Sunday school today The account of Joseph s Troubles continues the study of Joseph s life. God was with Joseph, and in Christ, God is with us in all of life s situations, providing, protecting, and forgiving us. As a family, you might discuss, How do we usually react when we are falsely accused of wrongdoing? How can we learn to trust Jesus to work out all things for our good? Meetings this week Pastor Eichstadt will be attending CLC board and Coordinating Council meetings Monday through Wednesday in Eau Claire. If needed, he may be reached at Can you help? Mowing volunteers are needed for this week and the rest of the fall season. Well-maintained buildings and property are one way to show our love for the Lord. The signup sheet is on the cupboard doors in the hall. School Support Group The School Support Group will meet next Sunday at 6 p.m. All those interested in hearing the latest news from the school and learning more about ways to help this important ministry are encouraged to attend. Finances Offerings for August were $6,000 over our budgeted needs and the balance of actual available funds increased by $3,600. We thank the Lord for so abundantly providing the means to carry out His work and for moving hearts to give freely and generously. Church tours As part of the confirmation class study of church history, tours of several historic churches in Milwaukee are being arranged for Friday, November 2. Others are welcome to join us. Contact Pastor for more information. Date change Mission Festival will be held on Sunday, November 18. Missionary David Koenig will be the guest speaker. Pastor Koenig will also be the main presenter at the Islam seminar to be held the evening before.
