3 LUKE 2:8-20 So, what do we need to do to follow God s lead for Christmas? I. WE NEED TO & INTENTIONALLY REACH OUT TO THE OVERLOOKED IN OUR WORLD! II. WE NEED TO COME UP WITH FOR OUR LIVES TO INTENTIONALLY REACH OUT TO THE OVERLOOKED. As we remember, today, the canceled Christmas of 2000 in Bethlehem, let s make sure Christmas isn t cancelled in the hearts of those who need it most right here those who may feel as overlooked as the shepherds did 2,000 years ago!

Adults and youth are welcome to gather together for a Cookie Reception after the Sunday School Christmas Program on December 17th. Coffee and milk will be provided. Please drop off cookies in the kitchen before the 10:00 AM worship service on that Sunday. The Middle/High School Youth Group members had chosen a holiday outreach project. With your help they have met their goal to collect 70 bottles of Suave Body Wash (18 FL OZ), any scent. The youth will be creating a simple ornament to attach to the wrapped bottles. These gifts will be taken to the Hope Health & Rehabilitation Center to be distributed to each tenant and resident for Christmas. We are truly blessed to be able to provide this special gift to our senior friends! If anyone has purchased body wash for this project but has not brought it in yet, we'll still gladly take it to donate to Hope. They will surely appreciate it!

7 GRACE 101 DIGITAL LIBRARY Trinity United Methodist Church has been recently introduced to a ministry out of Richardson, Texas, called Grace Ministries: Home of the 101 Back to the Basic Resources. This is a ministry Pastor Rom has been familiar with for some time now and has used their resources in the past a very-trusted resource. And now, because of a special package deal with Trinity UMC, this digital library is available to all from Trinity UMC and even more. This library of digital resources will also be made available to our community. In other words, if you re a part of Trinity UMC and you know of someone who might benefit from one Grace Ministries resources on this site, please share it with them so they can receive Godly guidance for their lives as well (username/password below).
