6 Three members of TUMC: Patti Cobb, Nancy Vegetabile and Teresa Amerling will be performing in and invite you to: ONE HIT WONDERS 2 the Lomira Community Theatre s New Year's Eve Show Friday, Dec. 30 (Dinner Show) Saturday, Dec. 31 (Dinner Show) Sunday, Jan. 1 (Matinee Show) There will be two dinner shows and one matinee show at the Camelot Golf Club Dinner Show Tickets: $30 plus processing fee. Meal served at 6:00pm, show follows dinner. Sunday's Matinee Show at 1:00 pm has tickets that can only be purchased at the door. Seating is first come, first served. Matinee is $15, (seniors and children under 12 are just $10) You can purchase tickets online at The Christmas Season at Trinity UMC Advent 2016 begins today, as we get into a brand new worship series called The Wonder of Christmas: Once You Believe, Anything is Possible! This series will explore the true wonder of Christmas through the lens of four elements of the Christmas story: a star, a name, a manger, and a promise. As we look to these four elements of the Christmas story, we ll rediscover (or maybe discover for the first time) that the true wonder of Christmas is found in Christ s love, made real in our hearts when we share that love with others. Because of God s great love for us in Christ, we can believe with confidence that anything is possible! CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP SERVICES Will be held at 5, 7 & 9 PM CHRISTMAS DAY WORSHIP SERVICE 8:00 AM Only This will be a service of Stories and Songs

7 Pastor Rom met with Trinity's Youth Group on Sunday Morning Dec. 4 th to discuss the history, meaning, and practice of Communion within the Protestant faith as well as our own church. The youth were then invited to partake in a Communion session where the element representing the body of Christ was served in a special Communion Cup made of olive wood. Pastor Rom brought these cups back from Bethlehem during a trip he made a few years prior. Thank you Pastor Rom for sharing your time and these keepsake cups with the youth!

God s vision for Trinity UMC how we will accomplish the United Methodist mission is purposefully simple: Love (both God & people; Matthew 22:37-38 & 39-40) Grow (intentionally; Ephesians 3:17; 2 Peter 1:2) Serve (just like Jesus did; Matthew 20:26b-28) These three simple phrases help us stay focused on what is really important LOVE, GROW, and SERVE.
