3 I am pleased to report that plans have been made, and work is underway to remediate the damage to our facility brought on by the harsh and snowy Winter of This is not an official report but I wanted to bring you up to speed as to where we as be begin the month of May. The cracked, inner-wall drain pipe that caused most of the damage has been capped and a new exterior drain pipe complete with heat-tape has been installed. The Property Team believes this new exterior pipe will solve all the problems that brought such havoc to the Parlor and the Kitchen. You can see the new pipe from the church parking lot. Local contractors with sterling reputations have submitted bids to repair the interior damage to the rooms on all three floors that sustained water damage. Once bids have officially been accepted, work will begin repairing the no longer used classroom on the 3rd floor, the Memorial Parlor, and the Kitchen. Work will likely begin around the end of the month. We have received a bid from a trusted Stone Mason for repairs to the Union St. façade, and the Property Team is soliciting other bids for comparison. The work required to the façade is major and will combine both repair and restoration. Once bids have been accepted and a plan is in place, the Property Team will make an official report. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation to help with repairs, please speak to me. Mark Your Calendars!
