Students must be registered in the Parish before registering in the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) and/or participating in CYO. Sacraments Sacrament of Baptism (1st and 3rd Sunday at 1:15pm): Parishioners should contact the Rectory to arrange for Baptism and PreJordan class. PreJordan is offered on the 2nd Thursdays at 6:30pm. Registration required. Sacrament of Marriage: Parishioners are asked to contact the Rectory at least 6 months in advance. Sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession: Saturdays 3:30 to 4:30PM and by Appointment. Sacrament of the Sick: Parishioners are asked to contact the Rectory for Anointing of the Sick visits. Holy Communion for homebound parishioners may be arranged by calling the Rectory. 3 Alleluia! Alleluia! We are an Easter people! Living that enables us to have a new perspective, a new vision to see the good and the beautiful in life and in people. Here are two lists to guide us in living such a life. 4 150th Celebration Mass of Thanksgiving for Parish Founders 4/21/18 Fr. Bell will celebrate an outdoor Mass of Thanksgiving in appreciation for all deceased parish family members at 11am on Saturday, April 21, at Nativity s Calvary Cemetery. Please plan on joining us! We suggest you bring a folding chair or blanket. Light refreshments will be served after Mass. The Divine Mercy chaplet is a beautiful and powerful prayer that I love to pray when I am in the Chapel. The Eucharist is central to devotion to the Divine Mercy, and many of the elements of the devotion are essentially Eucharistic-especially the Image, the Chaplet and the Feast of Mercy pg. 36 in The Divine Mercy Message and Devotion handbook. 5 Social Ministry & Outreach Thanks to everyone who helps feed and clothe the homeless men at St. John s Hospice in Philadelphia. This past month we sent: 95 Casseroles, 66 Bags of Clothes and 5 Boxes of Toiletries. Casseroles can be dropped off in the freezers in the Priest s Garage on Church St (behind Brick Building). St. John s Hospice needs new or gently worn men s pants of all sizes 32, 34, 36, 38 waist, (inseam any length), New Men's underwear and New Men s white undershirts. Clothing donations can be dropped off at the clothing donation bin right next to garage. They are also in need of large toiletries: deodorant, body wash, powder, soap, lotion, shampoo, razors, or mouthwash. Toiletries may be dropped in the bin in the Church vestibule. Education & Youth Ministry Happy Spring! Hopefully, the snow is over for this year and we will soon see the flowers of spring. At school, we are preparing for our spring musical, Shrek Jr! About 100 of our children participate in the play which will take place on April 20, 21, and 22. For more information, visit our website. Registration for the school year is in full swing! Our PK3 class is full and we have started a waitlist! PK4 and Kindergarten classes are filling up quickly. Call for a tour and register now! Don t let finances keep you from applying to our school. Mother of Providence Regional Catholic School is offering Tuition Transfer Grants for children entering grades one through eight for the school year. Families may receive $1,000 off the first year tuition per child for children transferring from public, charter, and home school situations. For the second year, families may receive $500 off per child.
