6 About Worship Worship Is God s Saving Work Among Us If worship is a divine work, it is God s saving work among us. It is God s work of building up the Church When in the worship of the church the word is truly preached and the sacraments rightly administered, then God calls, teaches, and leads His people into a new way of life Here we are united together into one body by God s Spirit, are made participants in the coming kingdom.
