We follow the way of Jesus, who faced trials, trouble, temptation, and testing. Like Jesus, we are not alone. The Holy Spirit is with us. God s Word is on our lips. Our call is to trust in God alone, to do God s will in all things. For God leads us not only into the wilderness, but also through the wilderness. 2

ANNOUNCEMENTS Five People Lenten Series During the season of Lent, we ll take some time to consider life, death, the resurrection, and our eternal life in the Kingdom to come. We ll tackle these subjects as we read and discuss The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom. Please consider joining us for this interesting story on life, the choices we make in it, and how they affect us now and beyond life. We ll gather on four Thursday mornings beginning March 14 at 11:00 am, and our time together will be followed by a small, shared meal of soup and bread. 7 No Neighbor Left Behind Our next opportunity to deliver a hot nutritious meal to our neighbors in need will be Friday, March 22 at 2:00 pm. If you would like to contribute to this meal by preparing or donating food, packaging for distribution, or lending a hand with the delivery, please look for the sign-up sheets in the vestry or contact Ruth Anne Vagt at for further details.
