Wee Blessings Preschool is welcoming donations to help run this non-profit preschool. Your donations allow us to keep tuition costs lower for each child wishing to attend. If you would be willing to bless our preschool in this way, please take a laminated tag from the Blessings Donation display. Please return the purchased item and the laminated tag to the donation box on or before March 5. 4 The Pinewood Derby was a huge success! A great time was had by all! The kids did a great job of creating their car and racing! Thank you to all who came and supported them. 5 Church Family Prayer Prayer Concerns: Please pray for Jan Budden as she will be having knee replacement surgery on Wednesday, February 21, at Dakota Dunes. Pray that the surgery goes well and that she may have a speedy recovery. Please pray for Gloria Wierda as her breast cancer has returned. She anticipates surgery on Wednesday in Sioux Falls and will follow up with radiation treatments. Keep Gloria and Louis in your prayers during this time. Continue to pray for Brent De Kok. Brent had a PET scan which showed no cancer hotspots. Pray for him as he will tentatively be having the last of the tumor removed on March 12. Remember Marie Maassen in your prayers as she fell and broke her hip last week Saturday. She had surgery in Sioux Falls and is currently recovering in the Orange City hospital. Pray for continued healing for her. Please keep Debbie Hubers in your prayers as she will be having surgery on Tuesday to repair tendons in her ankle. Pray that the surgery goes well and that she can experience some relief. Please be in prayer for Kimi Leusink s dad, Glenn Fuller, as he had emergency eye surgery. He is now having similar issues with his other eye so pray for patience and healing for him. Continue to pray for Alice Vander Broek as she moved to Prairie Ridge last week. Pray for her as she continues to adjust. Her new address is as follows: Prairie Ridge Care Center GV # th St. NE Orange City, IA Phone #: (712) We extend our sympathy to Marlys Lenters, and Daryl & Sandy Holtrop and family in the passing of Alison Lenters. Alison passed away on Thursday, February 15. Please remember them in your prayers during this time. We will serve alongside various churches and organizations in the Lincoln and Omaha area that are seeking to bring about restoration and hope to the hurting. Each day, time will be devoted to training, serving, personal devotions, and group debriefing. Participants will employ a variety of skills and gifts, and hear dynamic stories of life change. Teams will serve at-risk children and teenagers, homeless, working class poor, incarcerated, refugees, those struggling with substance abuse, and participate in hands on opportunities. - More info coming soon regarding costs and registration dates!
