Church Family Prayer Prayer Concerns: Please keep Dustin Van Der Weide in your payers as he continues his training in the army. On April 10, Dustin will be transferring to Poland to join his unit there. Remember all those who are actively serving in the armed forces & in the reserves. Please pray for Pam De Haan as she will be starting her fourth cycle of chemo treatments this week. Pray that all goes well and that God may continue to heal her. Continue to pray for Vera Brouwer & her family as her youngest son, Marvin, passed away. His funeral was this past Wednesday. Please do not send cards directly to Vera. Please pray for Sierra & Carey Borchers as they are currently serving in Haiti with Touch of Hope and the Tytoo Orphanage. Pray that God works through them and the lives of the people they come in contact with. And we continue to remember Elvera Van Horssen, Gloria Wierda, Val Dykstra, and Bryan Van Gelder in our prayers.

4 Jr. GAP Lunch: Lunch is a pan of bars/2 dozen cookies and 2 two liters of pop April 4 Provided April 11 Landon Hofmeyer, Brooklyn Leusink, Rachel Leusink, Sam Marquez Announcements: Middle School Retreat 2018 April Hidden Acres, Dayton, IA The Middle School Retreat is FAST approaching! We leave Friday, April 13 at 4:10 pm. We are packing up the bus from 3:50-4:00. Before we leave, we will gather for a time of prayer in The Refuge parents, please join us if you can! We will have supper on the way, covered by Jr. GAP. We hope to return around 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Students will need to cover the cost of lunch on Sunday. Power Connection 2018 July Kansas City Area Registration is open! Head over to to register. Power Connection is an amazing week of service, worship, youth group time and recreational time for middle school students! Here is a brief description from the Synod: Our desire is to provide an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to transform the beliefs of students and adult leaders into a lifestyle of faith in Jesus Christ. Registration closes on May 20; payment is also due by May 20 (checks written out to MRC Jr. GAP). Cost will be $100 per student. Jr. GAP Youth Sunday Sunday April 22 at 5:30 pm EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT! The Jr. GAPpers will be leading us in an evening of worship, using their many talents, strengths, and gifts to praise our great God in song, through message, with skits and art! Invite grandparents, family, and friends! Stay tuned for what time the Jr. GAPpers will need to be there on Sunday for their final rehearsal. The theme this year is Rebels of the Bible.
